Messed my hairdresser about - what to do?

If you go online every day set yourself reminders on whatever calendar system you have. I would be hopeless without my Works calendar - I can set it to remind me anything from 15 mins to a week in advance (handy when I need to buy and post a birthday card) and it pops up every day until I cancel it, so there's no excuse.
I think the gift idea is great, but she isn't on a diet is she? I'd have thought wine or flowers, or maybe a potted plant for the salon might be a safer bet.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I do that with my calendar at work too, so handy. Reminded me of so many appointments that I would have missed and reminds me of things that I have to do. The snooze button is great but it does my head in flashing up on the screen all the time so I go and get the job out of the way so that I can dismiss it.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0 -
another phone addict here: when I go to the hairdressers I write the new appointment in my diary, and then copy it from today's date on my phone to the new date on my phone.
If you get sufficiently dependent on your phone, you'll never lose it again! :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I have a big calender that i put up above the cooker that i write everything on, that way i have to look at it every day when i am cooking so i never miss a thing.
I also put on it any money i have going out of my account, since i started doing it i've never missed an appointment and i never go overdrawn!!I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
I do have quite a problem remembering things just now and I could do with something to help but short of hiring a social secretary, I'm not sure what else might work. :rolleyes: A calendar only works if you remember to check it.
I know exactly what you mean, I have serious pregnancy brain atm! I use this, it's called Rainlendar it's free and sits on your desktop and tells you what events/appointments you've got coming up and you can even get it to pop up a reminder as well! (And it's got a to do list which I use a LOT!)
As long as you're on your computer often it's marvellous!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
I would pop in with a box of chocs and a personal apology within the next few days

Why not ask your hairdresser if she will phone you the day before to remind you of your appointment?
Mine phones me up but I think its because they have had so many customers forgetting about their appointments that they see it as an investment!2014 Target;
