    Hi

I would recommend http://www.nappiesbyminki.co.uk/ Michaela is excellent and makes swim nappies upto adult sizes for people with special needs etc.

Stacie, if you are taking about a local pool where you live then I wouldn't choose to go any way if it was full of children, that's my choice, but I still think it's a health hazard taking a baby with or without a nappy on in a public swimming pool.

If I am abroad on holiday and I want to go in the pool and there is a nice children's pool for them to go in, I can't understand why they can't go in it, I have seen babies screaming with fright because their parents had taken them into the pool, they are much happier in my opinion splashing about in the children's pool.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but I feel very strongly about the hygiene issues.

So where exactly are people supposed to take their baby swimming if its a health hazard taking them in a public swimming pool?

You don't sound harsh, you sound like a mentalist!

But why bring this up at all? The OP wasn't asking your opinion on what pool she should use, she was asking about swim nappies.

P.S There are more disgusting adults who wee in the pool than babies with watertight nappies, think on that

If you can't add a helpful answer to the post, just ignore it, I feel strongly about lots of things but not helpful posting a "know it all" post, you just get people's backs up. But if it made you feel better to have a dig, so be it :p

BTW http://www.incywincy.net - I found these people maybe some help

LOL even famous people do it:

I never had swimming nappies for either of mine. They were no such things. So from months old they both just wore baby swimming trunks and no accidents.

I hope you are not taking him in the swimming pool that adults use, that is disgusting if you are, it puts me off completely when I see babies with nappies on in the pool, think what diseases people can get from the bacteria in faeces , most places have a children's pool and that is where they should be taken, the water can be changed easier in a small pool also. Why contaminate the large pool and put peoples health at risk

Hate to burst your bubble, but there are plenty of people of all ages who pee in pools (and the sea come to that). You're likely to get more urine by volume in the pool from an over 65s swim time than from a lesson full of 2 year olds. Some people are just plain grim.

NOT TRYING TO CAUSE OFFENCE TO ANYONE OF ANY AGE HERE :o

    Too late ;-)
I have had children and I have Grandchildren and also great Grandchildren, I do understand your problem but ask yourself why they closed the pool, think about it seriously.

Because they didn't want people complaining about a floater in the pool probably ;) it was an accident gees

It could go for any bodily function like vomitting, wouldn't want to swim in that either.

You have taken post off of course and now the OP won't get the answers she was actually looking for.
