  • XXXXXXXXXXXXXXPositive Vibes for Spud and her doggieXXXXXXXXXXXX

and good morning to everyone else!

I am off to work in a bit, then lunch with a friend, hopefully its just her cos last time she brought another friend with her and we ended up paying for her lunch which really did annoy me! but I was very English about it all and bit my tongue!

After lunch out I am having dinner out too, not very MSE but haven't actually seen any one since last week! and I am not going out again till next week friday so I afford it, so long as that girl doesn't come along again!

and then tomorrow its the last big push before school starts. sighs.

more of that in my diary later.

So have a lovely day people - I expect entertaining reading when I get home!

and Spud I am seriously thinking of you, vets and pets always seems to equal stress and worry in large amounts so I hope its all ok xxxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!

How hard can it be to deliver a mattress to the correct fuc&ing COUNTRY!!!

Just got a call form a lovely man telling me that our street name didn't come up when he put it in his satnav. Fair enough I thought, its a new development and maybe his maps haven't been updated. So I gave him the name and road number for the neares main road. Still nothing. Transpires after MUCH toing and froing HE is in Plymouth whilst we are in PAISLEY!!!!

Despite Mum confirming the delivery address - including POSTCODE about a month ago:mad:

Fortunately I haven't arranged for our mattress to be collected by the council yet so I will have somewhere to sleep tonight (not that I'll be telling them that!) but it could easily have been outside already as HUbbles was going to take it out on his way to work. Plus I've taken time off work this morning to be in for it:mad:

By the way - morning everyone:hello: hope your day started better than mine! Sending positive thoughts your way Spud. Hope the pooch is alright.

Thanks guys. Dropping her off was AWFUL.

When she's had ops in the past, we've been able to stay with her until her pre-med has taken effect, but the vets arent in until 11 so we've had to leave her wide awake.

They only have one kennel big enough for her, which is downstairs so they've squeezed her into the biggest one they have on the ground floor.

So, we've had to leave her howling the place down, squashed into a kennel too small and getting stressed because we've left her

I'm sat here sobbing, fighting the urge to go get her

  • (((((((HUGS)))))) to Spud - it must be awful too leave her so upset, but you know that she WILL be OK, the vets will be there soon and will calm her down and she'll be right as rain.

Know that doesn't stop you worrying or being upset though. Make yourself a nice cuppa and try to relax xx

She was making such a fuss, I wouldnt be surprised to get a call soon. She's a real family dog, has to be where we are.

The nurse said she'll ring 3 or 4ish this afternoon and they'll keep her in theatre till we get there, rather than putting her back in the kennel.

DD just brought me a brew. God the house feels empty
