    i also tried deleting the entry in ccleaner but it says 'cannot delete MSI installer'

    There are programs to FORCE UNINSTALL but I dont know of any that are free

    i've done it!!
    i found windows installer cleanup utility, downloaded it, deleted it and voila problem sorted.
