We had home made fish fingers and chips with mushy peas. The fish is coated with crushed cornflakes and is yummy!

how can u make fish fingers at home? and how do u stick conflakes on? sounds delicious, u must be a nigella!!!!! xxxxx

Quick cookery lesson!

Cut fish into strips - I use lemon sole but any other white fish will do. Dip into some plain flour and then into beaten egg then when it's all gooey dip into crushed cornflake mix. Fry for a couple of minutes and Bob's your Uncle!

You can do the same thing with chicken and use either cornflakes, crushed TUC, Ritz or any other crackers.

I made these when DD was small and got the recipe from an Annabel Karmel book. She has a website with other tasty recipes if you're keen!
