Good luck to all that are starting new schools this week,
Bad news it means leaving to take oh to work 20mins earlier in the morning because of all the extra traffic.

Ahhh kerrimouse it is a sad day for us and sometimes think we are worse than the kids. Hope she gets on ok but it is a massive step...I've had a weird 12 months with my kids....Last year eldest Son moved out on my wedding anniversary of all days, to do his last year at uni living with his mates.....I was in such a state crying as we are very close and still have a sniffle now, but he's only about 5 mile away and i see him every month..So I'm at his graduation Monday...Tears and mascara everywhere. Then my youngest little girl goes Full time School on Thursday and I dont know how I'll cope with that. One daughter started secondary school last year and that was a huge step for her and my other daughter starts secondary school next year...Seem to have had a lifetime of milestones all in 12 months...:D

You have definitely needed the tissues in the last year easter.

Well I have had a cry as her dad said she got upset when he dropped her off and said she was worried because she knew nobody.

Then have had a stressfull 1/2 hour as I got a text of her saying she needed her pe kit before lunch arrrggghh. What school does pe on the first day back  especially a class of new kids.

Dh has popped home from work and taken it up to the school for her, so hopefully she has got it in time. Its a good job his work let him out, I would never have got it there in time, with two kids in two and two buses to catch.

She'll probably take a few days to settle and then everything will start to settle...I had the same problem with My daughter...she felt like she was the only one without a friend but the first day she had made 2 good friends who she is still mates with now....You just wish you could go through it for them but if life was only that easy Mmmmm. Do we ever stop worrying however old they are ..NO..I still take my eldest some grocesries every 3-4 weeks. If I know he's eating Proper food I can rest a little easier....

Your right, why did nobody tell me been a mum was going to be this hard. All I can think about is her and how she is getting on, will be so much happier when she is home tonight and I can chat with her.

My mum is the same with me, she still checks up on me and brings me food and I am 36 and have been married 18 years lol.

Well that is me on bread and water for the rest of the month, just had to pay the rest of my holiday, at least I will lose some weight.

You know One of my daughters made a lovely card in nursery when she was 3 and she is now 11 next week..On the front were her little hands in paint and inside a beautiful verse about how they would remind me of how little she was...When she gave it me I just cried and she kept saying mommy why are you crying. I still have it in the kids keepsakes box upstairs but still cant read it even now. I've always been like that over the kids.I just burst with pride over them..Then when I watch my eldest son performing his Physical Theatre or Panto's , whatever he's doing at the time I usually come home and get really emotional..My husband just thinks I'm a sandwich short of a picnic . But I dont care..

It's true Last week I had such a scare..My son has been promoted to assistant manager at the snooker place he works in and he finishes work at 3 in the morning..I had sky news on sunday morning and saw that a 21 year old man ( same age as my son ) had very sadly been stabbed to death right outside where he works at 3.30 in the morning. I just cant explain what went through my mind. I had no credit on my phone and my husband was fishing in a competition miles away..I was sick to the stomach and so upset Till I saw him sign into his msn on my comp...They wasnt allowed in work next night as road was closed and theres flowers there, it's so sad. My heart really goes out to the parents of that lad. But this is my constant worry.

can i ask people what they think of the new sort by facility that the new expiry date has enabled?

i need some honest feedback of how you think its working.

hello, i've been MIA for a couple weeks (sorting out baby and new nursery) so have missed most of the latest developments...

have the compilation lists been abandoned? that's a huge pity if they have, cos i loved settling down with a cuppa after i've put bubbs to bed and getting 10 minutes to myself with the daily list before catching up with housework, hubby and dinner ...

wait, scratch that question: just found the last thread about the meeting:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

the search facility works a treat, in that case!:j

    Hey

I started working through all 150 pages last night resulting in some very strange dreams about forms and opt out boxes

Can I sit in the corner over there and nurse a shandy till I get better please ;)

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who has dreams about the comps. I think I'm becoming an addict: I have loads of things to do and instead of doing them, I'm just lurking around here!
