microsoft only knew how long i had my xbox because, i had registered with them on a certain date
so for example, you phone microsoft telling them your xbox is broken and they ask you have you registered before, you say no, they say ok then we will register you now.........after all of that was done that was the date of which they took it from for me, so after that one year preiod it was over for me........
you can always phone microsoft and check these things first its not hard to hang up every now and then i have hung up on them loads, you get lucky and get a girl who is not very good on the phone and processes an order for you what she isnt really supposed to do.. just try things,, its better to try and fail than not try and wonder what if!!!

Hiya guys just an update.........Got home last night to find that i hadnt kept the reciept  spoke to microsoft support and they told me that warrenty runs out on 15th September 2008 phew!! (although i think it was the way that you said II D2 II in how they determined it :) ) so they have emailed me the UPS Courier stickers and ill have to send it off to them now to get it fixed. Although looking at the UPS stickers it looks like it needs to go to Germany  :rotfl:

well they despactched mine after one month(yes i watched progress too)after one week i phone them because it hadnt come back, they gave me another tracking order so i checked up on it and it was going so i wait another week, doesnt come so i phone up with my previous reference number and tracking number and they told me its been passed over to someone and is out of their control and should be with me shortly, i just gave up then and stopped thinking about it, then like 2-3 weeks after i got it :) lol
now its braking again slowly but im going to buy a new one and swap its worth 4 weeks
Edit... there is no way of it getting to you buy weekend, when its gets there you have to wait for it to be shipped back out again, and that takes 3-5 days to get to you, so you have at least a minimum of one week left
  • My husbands xbox had the dreaded red rings and it took 13 days for them to collect and send back (including the bank holiday we have just had) so he is pretty happy.

Seeing as he was going on like a little boy about it going to take weeks he should be :p

He was always checking the progress to lol

    men! ;)
