:rotfl: just rung them and they said so long as its within the 12 month warrenty then they would repair it free of charge :j :j :j and yeah blockbuster in your nek of the woods is carp :rotfl:

Just to repeat myself again, if it *is* within 12 months, don't get it repaired, get down that orrible blockbuster!

i get the feeling that i might have major issues with them to be honest, kipper, my OH if you hadnt guessed lol, has had a number of issues in there with them, the staff are generally lazy, argumentative and to be honest probably share one brain between 5 of them :rolleyes: although one thing i would like to know is that how on earth would Microsoft know if im within my 12 month warrenty or not?

they'll be able to tell *roughly* when it was sold based on the serial number etc but won't be able to be 100% certain...don't know if the emphasis is on them or you to prove this...

Cool :beer: hopefully i got it towards the end of September then cos as kipper said thats when Halo 3 came out

iv just sent my sons xbox back for exactly the same reason, not reading discs. told them it ad red lights aswell tho, just to be on the safe side and to mek sure they wud take it. its been gone over a week now and my son is driving me mad without it .lol
