Apple discount for uni students

You can't be on the correct store. Sounds like you are on the Education Store rather than Higher Education. I just looked on the Higher Education store and 3yr Apple Care is £47 on a MacBook not £157. Anyway they still sell Apple Care even though you get the 3yrs warranty free as it offers some additional benefits over the free warranty. The 3yr Warranty isn't mentioned on the site when you order but it is within the terms and conditions of the Higher Education store. I did it last year and about 2 months after I ordered I got an email with details of my 3 year warranty.
