Good morning
I'm full of cold this morning; Wayne has suffered all weekend - which means I have had to endure him suffering loudly. Now he's gone to work and left me full of cold!
I'm off to visit a couple of council run local sports centres today; I can join and get 20% discount AND I'm not tied in to a 12 month contract. I'd priced up the things I want to do (aqua aerobics, swimming, yoga) and I'd be paying double the monthly cost to do them. Midwife thinks I'll be ok, but I need to talk to the instructors to see if they can modify the format to make it suitable in pregnancy. Swimming I'll carry on until LB arrives.
Wayne has (hopefully) smoked his last ciggie. I'd bought him some patches and this morning he woke me up at 4.20am to show me the patch.:T
Had a fun night last night - one of the doctors is leaving to start a post at Wythenshaw hospital so we met for drinks and nibbles. The usual crowd of O&G docs were there so didn't need to lie about not drinking.
I'm clearing out the spare room still. It became a dumping ground for misplaced items so I need to do some serious decluttering. This evening I'll be talking my SIL through excel and formulae. her boss offered to pay me for it so I said he'd probably end up owing me the equivalent of a cheap bottle of plonk but we'll see. I reckon she just lacks confidence but we'll see.
Sammy - Kitchen will take about 10 minutes to get absolutely spotless so that's one job I can tick off!
Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning from windy north Yorkshire. Oh my goodness, the camper is rocking and not in a good way! Feeling a bit lonely today as Stu has gone home to go to work but he will be back in a couple of days. Hope everyone is well and has a good day. X"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Lovely to hear from you Snaggles:j The weather is supposed to be getting better for the weekend again.
Off to work soon, interviewing students:rolleyes: Still no word about this new job. I am supposed to start next week and I have been forwarded my new timetable with all the courses for the new post on it but still nobody has actually confirmed that I have got the job
OR MENTIONED WHAT THE SALARY IS:mad:
Maybe I will hear something today:rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Morning everyone
Have a good day at work Sammy :j
Cat - good luck to Wayne with the patches, it's a hard thing to do but the freedom is so so worth it - Allen Carr worked for me and I stopped overnight, no cravings, no missing it, will never ever smoke again
Snaggles! :grouphug: sorry you're on your own while Stu does some work, if you were closer I'd gatecrash your camper! Hope you're having a good time of it though
Enjoy the interviews Louise, and I share some of your frustration, I start work in two weeks and don't know my salary  not a hard question is it, how much am I being paid?
Well I am taking Elliot for another short session at nursery today - just an hour to see how he is. I'm going to go and drink an expensive coffee from somewhere like Costa because I never get the chance (pushchairs and hot drinks don't mix) and maybe look at shoes :j
Or, sit outside the nursery door fretting while using MSE on my phone :rolleyes:0 -

Today is work, did some washing this morning and will do some dusting when I get in tonight. I'm liking this domestic lark!Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0
