I hate men that run away.... it is a big shock at first. but you do get used to it.
To be fair to my ex-OH, he was very clear about never wanting children and this is, sadly, what led us to breaking up a couple of weeks ago. We still very much love each other and want to be together - just wanted different futures ... little did I know that a couple of weeks later ...
I haven't mentioned to him that I'm even worried yet. No point til I get the result. If it is positive then we're going to have to have a chat about it and he can be as involved, or not, as he wants.

My hopes have been up since we split up! I would take him back in a second if he wanted me. He's an absolutely wonderful person - just one who's never wanted kids. I guess we'll see what happens after lunch.

I suggest you distract yourself for that vital 5 minutes by going and making a cup of tea or something.
