With NWA reservations.

On my Expedia itinerary I have a NWA Confirmation code. This is 6 letters and when I input that into the NWA site it shows my booking.(NWA is my outbound flgiht)

On the booking it shows the 13 digit E-ticket number and if I click on that it shows the whole trip.

My Inbound flight is with Air France.
If I input the Air France confirmation code from the itinerary it doesn't show up.
However if I input the 13 number ticket ref from the itin then the whole booking is shown along with the PNR which can be used to look at checkmytrip.

I've just checked my booking on checkmytrip (thanks blindman), the correct intinerary and flights are displayed (great i thought!) BUT underneath "flight details" there is a link saying +View details this expands a new box with extra infomation it says flight payment: Air Fare not available.

Does everyone else have this? or does yours say "paid" etc

The money also hasn't been taken from my account, but when I check on the airlines website it says everything is confirmed??

Yep, same here! looks like where in the same situation .. lets keep our fingers crossed for the next 72 hours! lol

My card hasn't been fully charged yet, but there are 2 temporary authorisations from Orbitz, one for the price of the tickets and another for the Orbitz fees.

on my account i have been charged my expedia for the hotel rooms and there is another charge authorized on my account for the plane tickets but it has not gone through yet (its pending_ my flights though have all been confirmed on NWA website ie i have printed off my etickets etc.

That seems to be good news!... did you explain that the company have put your tickets "on hold" and not took payment yet? or did you just ask once a ticket has been purchased (fully paid) will they add more charges?

It always takes a few days for your credit card to be actually debited the money on any transaction.
If you ring them they can tell you what payments have been pre-authorised.
This is no guarantee that the money will actually be taken as the pre auth can 'expire'


With the Checkmytrip. IIRC then once the E-ticket number is issued that means the flight has been ticketed.
However if the airline never takes the money from the credit card then they could probably cancel the 'purchase'

Basically it is a 'wait and see' , just DO NOT book any other associated travel.
