Cross Country want my train tickets now :T

Either a partial or full refund is on its way - depends on their review.

Long story short, they say they are very sorry, and its due to the other passengers on board - not them. :T

Things go wrong sometimes. What do you want them to say here?
It's fairly obvious a service he paid for was not provided and was not up to the standard that would be reasonably expected. A full or partial refund of ticket value and an apology would be appropriate.
The part about you not liking the direction of the seat is a joke.
As usual you show a lack of understanding and common sense. An option was given for seat direction, probably for the reason that it physically affects some people. How would you like it if everytime you had to travel it caused you nausea? Perhaps then you wouldn't see it as a joke  In this case the forward seat could have made the difference between a fairly relaxed journey and a journey full of feeling unwell with headache.

For them to do what? You don't appear to be at much of a loss.
He is at a loss, he paid for a service that was not provided.
All sounds a bit whiney to me.
Much like the majority of your posts on this forum do to me.

    Hi Sam

if you feel that you had grounds to complain then go ahead and complain - the adults here are just doing what adults do, please don't be too hurt by their comments and criticism.

I would be very proud of my daughter if she wanted to complain about a service she wasn't happy with.

    Good luck!

The correct outcome for the complaint, well done. Certain members on this board as you have found out are just here to give idiotic replies, most of them couldn't help a cabbage if they tried.

I do worry about you sometimes, but yet again this response shows your posts here are not worth responding to, you never know what you are talking about.

Or...... were you being true to your form and talking about -oh I dunno- your mate Ian who booked a rail ticket from Swansea to Birmingham recently.... or something equally unconnected with the post you quoted?
