Debenhams Discount Day 25% off everything

Hsband went into local branch and bought three pairs of jeans/trousers and couple of shirts this morning still with 25% off!

My local closes at midnight tonight again.

Also - thought I would let you know... If you already have a debenhams card but havent used it in at least 6 months you can re-apply!! I got told this by a member of staff and did just that to get an extra 10% off

It is really quiet today (possibly not after this post) - mostly because no one knew about the extra day and most people already went in the last 2 days.

I went into Debenhams on Thursday - not been in there for years but it was packed, and the queues...

Anyway looked at Levis 501 jeans, they were £60 normal price
With 25% off they'd still be £45 - just down the road they were on sale at another store normal price of £39.99

So I looked at the toys - Standard Monopoly board game - £15!
Only 20% off that so it would have been £12
Even if 25% off it would have been £11.25
Walked down to a local toy shop who were selling it for £10.89 (ok, it was on special offer WSL, but still cheaper)

I think it'll be a few more years before I venture into Debenhams again

I'd check today online again if you were looking for something that they didnt have your sizes in. I managed to get a shirt I couldnt get in my size on wed thurs or fri.

Grrrrrrr!! I dont have time to shop during the week so thought I would sit here today in the warm and try the website.

It says the sale has been extended online only for three more days till Sunday but when I try to shop there is a message from Debenhams saying the site is closed due to overwhelming demand and they will sort something out for the 2006 sale! Whats the point in extending the sale on a website that doesnt work?? :mad:

Dee123, from your post it doesn't look as though you noticed that on the page with that message there is a pink banner underneath that says 'Please click here to try shopping at https://www.Debenhams.com again.' If you keep trying, you will eventually manage to get onto their main site, it just takes a little (well, rather a lot at times lol!) patience.
