Debenhams Discount Day 25% off everything

Just had an email to say the special offers have been extended for a day instore too- or is that old news? I guess they are doing incredibly well out of the buying frenzy.

I cant believe a company as huge and well respected as Debenhams has such a terrible web site. I have tried 4 or 5 times to access the site over the last couple of days and been stuck on a holding page at various stages. Absolutely infuriating! What a waste of time... I wonder how much business they've lost because of this. Serves em right if you ask me! Grump - grump - grump :rolleyes:

Well, the opening hours tomorrow are 9-6.
The website sounds terrible.
In store I got a coat from redherring for my teenage daughter, which amazingly, she quite likes. Also some casual club cords, some bra's and undies and a pair of nice pjs. I opened an account too, so was pleased with a total spend of £96.

I went last night to a Debenhams, fought my way through the store - had a look at the queues and promptly left - I'm with everyone else here, they really do need to make their website more robust!

It has been like feeding time for the vultures at Debenhams in Manchester!!!
I went in for a browse yesterday and promptly left, but went back today to get a good deal on perfume.
On DKNY Delicious, they have a little wooden box with 4 x 7ml of the perfume, i.e. 28mls for £20. With the 10% discount this came down to £18. The normal RRP for a 30ml bottle is £27 so I reckon I got myself a good deal, and even at £20 it's worth it - £7 for 2mls of perfume????

I posted this somewhere else, but one of the reasons the website doesn't work that well is that they want you to go into the store where you are more likely to browse and buy more things than if you are at home surfing.

Bought of of these yeaterday off the website £62.10 (£65ish with delivery). Only reduced from £70 but that was a good price to start with, best on pricerunner is £82. Even on ebay most have gone for around £80.

I found the best time to try and order is early in the morning (around 9 or before) or late at night (after 10). Don't forget you can get an extra 5% back through quidco.com. Good luck!

Well I am :mad::mad: :mad: at Debenhams now.

On Tuesday I ordered a D&G watch for my g/f for xmas at a bargain £44. Everywhere else online it was £110. Got order confirmation an hour later. Now they send me an email saying it isn't in stock, and you can't even get on the website again!

Where do I stand - I want revenge.

Can't get on the blasted web-site and seeing the problems people are having, I don't think I'll bother - I can think of far more interesting things to do with my time.
