I went to our store at 8:45 for an evening shop without the children - and the store was CLOSED, i thought the midnight shopping was all stores.
will have to brave the crowds tomorrow.

Opened a store card to get an extra 10% off already discounted items.
Bought euphoria perfum set from Ck - got an additional £10 on top of 20% off the price. Used the voucher to take the total down off my 20% reduced 100ml Eternity for men gift set (which are hard to find). Very happy as these are items I wanted! :-)
Going again today as my bags were so heavy yesterday I couldnt carry any more !

Went to Trafford Centre lastnight about 7pm. Got a parking spot almost straight away! ( Christmas fairy was looking down on me...)Debenhams was very busy, but plenty of bargains to be had! Only downside was queueing for nearly 40 minutes to pay!! They also had hot spots dotted around the store, where certain things were half price. Picked up a pineapple coat up for my Daughter, should have been £40 but was down to £20 and even took more off at till. Got it for £17.49!!

I didn't expect to spend 40 min on line, but it took me so long to proceed with my order.
But I was determined to get my table, v nice extendable and v cheap - £92.50 with delivery

Oh Dear Me!

I hate shopping with a passion at the best of times, but Debenhams (Glasgow) has only hightened that passion - and all for £20 saving!!!

I only wanted to buy Radley bags (2) as Xmas pressies - spent 20 minutes trying to get to the stand, only to discover the leather on most had been crushed with the crowds! Eventually found 2 that were perfect .... tried to cut the queue by going to the curtain department to pay - to wait almost an hour in that queue whilst [FUME] there were LOADS of empty till points with no staff on them.

Got my £20 discount, decided to go for a Pizza Hut buffet, no tables and staff SOOOO very rude. (Actually phoned Piz Hut later who were very very sorry and are sending me to £20 vouchers as way of apology).

Oh what a flippin' waste of time - all that for £20. Would have paid £20 NOT to have stood in queue, but didn't like to give up at the time as seemed too defeatist!!!

Ummm, who's the mug here .... I don't remember anyone forcing me into the store!!! I hate shopping :-(

just got back from Meadowhall and I am pleased to say, it was definitely dying down at 4ish. People queueing for miles, I went upstairs to a makeup counter and got served straight away!!!!

Yes, the sale will last until the early hours of Monday morning on the website. Certain items are reduced by up to 70% (Vidal Sassoon hair straighteners), but most are around the 20 or 25% mark. I worked on the IT for some of this sale. Don't know when the store sale ends.

Went to Debenhams again today, bought some debut sandals for £27, cardigan for £10.80, photoframe/ablum for £11ish, latp tray for £11ish and a gorgeous scarf for £13ish. Annoyed though as yday never got any free chocs and today no candles either. Did anyone get these at all ?
