    I went this morning.
I hate to be a wet blanket, but it was a waste of time.
It was hot , crowded , the queues were HUGE ,there were screaming babies and much too loud DJ - type banter on the tannoy .
If there were any bargains , I didn't find any!
I usually like shopping, especially if there is a possibility of a bargain, but noooooo - get me out of here!!!!
Maybe you lot just have more stamina than me!!

I think you're right. Horrible shop at the best of times. The prices are rubbish too - really expensive even with 25% off! Quality and style of their stuff also poor IMO. The only thing they are good at is marketing!

If you spend 100 on your debenhams card you still get 10 quid gift card. Found this out as I was near FRONT OF Q and couldnt be bothered to go find another £20 to spend and wait another 20 mins in the queue! Got some good bargains tho - Jeans at 13.50! :)

I'm not trying to have an argument. Value Jeans in Asda or Tesco £3 and that's not a special offer. 'Fashion' jeans ie based on current designer jeans, £10 - £12 in Asda or Primark. A little more in H&M.

  • I also applied for a store card and got an extra 10% off and free box of chocolates.

I got a few clothes to wear at Christmas as I was really in need of a fashion update. Also a really nice Nike padded jacket at £55-25% =41.25 -10%= £37.12 Bargin!

They weren't fasion jeans. They were trader jeans. Quite comfy as well. I do but ASDA jeans as well occasionally but, to be honest, these just look and feel better for the extra tenner. ;)

I went this evening - took me nearly two hours to get to the Trafford Centre - it was awful. I went specifically to buy a watch advertised as half price - I queued for 30 mins - only to discover the watch isn't half price until tomorrow - I hadn't noticed that on the ad!! My daughter wanted a Pineapple dressing gown - out of stock! The place was so crowded - the queues snaked round the shop - left with nothing!
