This sounds like a good idea to me! Will benefit lots of people who don't have the time to trawl through everything, or just don't want to go through all the tips as well as the bargains.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000

I also think this is a good idea. Having only briefly visited the Grocery Challenge it appeared to be mainly chatting about everyone's 'goals' for that month.
I usually look on the Quick Grabbit and Shop But Don't Drop section but it would be great to have one just for latest deals in the supermarkets - especially if these were removed when they expired.
At the moment it can be abit confusing to know which particular thread to look in, especially to newbies.
I do try and visit new forums as you DO learn things you would otherwise have missed/not thought about etc. but it can be really time-consuming with so many choices on this fantastic website0 -

- At the moment, there are threads on the Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping boards like shop but don't drop, grabbit etc... but these have ALL bargains from everything from french knickers (don't ask me why I picked them, coz I don't know
) to mobile phones, and grocery deals, like the Morrisons 50p offers just get lost on there
- On the grocery challenge, it is exactly that, we want to beat our budget and although we tell each other about special offers and stuff, we also tell each other about how our day has gone, how our shopping challenge is going, etc, and these offers can get lost in there (I know I sometimes have trouble keeping up, so new people would be lost).
- The new thread would be strictly grocery offers, no chat, just offers, and I presume we would post an offer if we found it, which would then be added to the first post on the thread, and taken off if it expires, so then all grocery offers, be it 5p off a loaf of bread or BOGOF of toilet rolls will be on it.

Exactly right, thank you
I hadn't given any thought to their being sub-boards or whatever for the different supermarkets, but if you're asking my opinion on that, I'd have to say no, I'd prefer it open... threads as they are now, but all in one place, ie a new grocery board (I never look at the Argos sub-board... I completely forget it exists).TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 - At the moment, there are threads on the Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping boards like shop but don't drop, grabbit etc... but these have ALL bargains from everything from french knickers (don't ask me why I picked them, coz I don't know
