Morning all, i have now found half the bedroom floor and have 3 wheelie bags of ebay [STRIKE]rubbish[/STRIKE] nice things to sell.

Hubby due into the tech today and DS2 at the docs, Bo got his stitch's out yesterday and due for an xray next week so well on the way now.:j

Sister was told yesterday that she was being laid off from friday so not good because she goes away the 3/09 to get married and not back until 19/09 so coming home to no job and still has a evening do to pay for.

Sorry i have read the thread but my brains somewhere else today, cannot remember what was said or what i wanted to say.:o

Plan now is to keep going with the bedroom and do all messages, hoping to get the gutters done later too there looking very messy.

Cuppa first and i'll waking the selfish git i call a husband (you don't want to know) and get on with it.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Well the day is here and we are ready to load the van. No doubt the internet will be switched off at any minute so I'll say BYE and see you all again when I get to Scotland :T

Sorry I can't catch up but hugs to all :A

Ooh sorry - too late to wish you well with the move (like the way you got that last BH before moving up there;) and you'll benefit from Hogmanay, too! )

Hope it's all gone well! Wishing you joy in your new home.

    Morning all

I have been truely atrocious (sp?) over this last week. OH has been off work and he's made me do a trip out with the kids everyday and stopped me doing the housework. Just in 2 days so far we've been to the cinema, swimming, the park and the library  Great for the kids, but not so great considering I've still got house guests on 12th September

I have put my foot down today though, woke up this morning and have no hot water :( I've got a plumber coming (although he can't come till tomorrow afternoon ) and I need to clear out the airing cupboard and make everything easily accessible for him to get my hot water back again.

This is the list I've just compiled of tasks that need to be done before Friday end of play as I'm back at work on Monday and need to do the normal chores at the weekend and go to my mums, oh and get some trainers for DS.

Go to B&Q and buy paint
Clean kitchen (don't think a S/S would cover it!) with my new bottle of stardrops!!
Clear hallway of OH's discarded jackets, clothes and junk
Clear stairway of everyone's discarded jackets and junk
    Clear out airing cupboard
Possibly a trip to the dump if needed
    S/S bathroom and toilet
    Paint bathroom and toilet
    De-clutter lounge
    Paint lounge
    Put lounge back together
    Clean windows
Make place generally look and smell nice once all the above has been done

Right, better get started and get dressed (it's 11.13am, how disgusting of me :o ) and get to B&Q to complete no. 1 on the list, I'm hoping to have completed half the list by the end of today.

Have a good day everyone! :)
