    Morning All

Plumber just has to come back for a couple of hours this morning to commission the boiler and then that's it. The whole house needs sorting out, cleaning and putting back to rights though.

The cupboard in the kitchen where the old boiler was needs another bottom putting in and a shelf putting in which won't be done until the weekend so I can't put anyhting back in there. The same for the airing cupboard - that needs shelves building in so I can't put my towels, etc back in there either.

Other than that all the stuff out of DS's bedroom is in DD's room so that needs all putting back.

On top of that I have the twins tomorrow so won't be able to do much then and I need to sort out my stuff for work as well.

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning all,

Was pleased with progress with the landing, now clutter free and hoovered. Some of the washing has temporarily migrated to the bedroom.:o

TAG - 50 t shirts you're OH owns. Ditto! I think a combination of joint effort of sorting the wardrobe plus the covert removal of certain items I don't like (which I bought!) should help.

    Right the kitchen, oh boy.

I've just put the kettle on so I can was the dishes but after that I don't really know where to start. I'd planned on starting upstairs really but plumber hasn't arrived yet (should have been here about 30 mins ago) and I don't want to start something and then have to stop while he's here.

Yep 50. Maybe a couple more. I have to rotate them when I put cleaned, ironed ones back in the wardrobe otherwise.........

    a. He'd just wear the same ones all the time, which begs the question why does he need 50 odd T shirts?

and b. I have to make sure the ones I don't like are always at the back so he won't find them:D

    Morning all

Well I did have a quite night last night and got some sleep. I think puppy has got the message as she's sulking at the moment:rolleyes: Awww don't they make you feel guilty!!

It's gloomy and windy here today, but no rain...yet..... so that's a plus.

House is ok as I did a bit last night, though I have a strong suspicion that I will have a weekend list. Still, I've got next week off of work :j which means I can get it all up to scratch ready for when the kids go back to school. I really want to do some meals to freeze and some baking for packed lunches. But I never seem to fit it in:confused: I bought a loaf tin 3 weeks ago to make some HM bread and still haven't managed it:rolleyes:

Right, I'm on my second cup of coffee, so car needs loading (which is the worse part) and then of to merrily deliver my parcels. Won't be back till alot later as I always get lost at some point. Usually when the sat nav takes me to an entirely different road than it's supposed to:rolleyes:

    Happy Flying ladies!!

Oh and pigpen. I don't think DIY on the kitchen surfaces is a good idea. Bit messy and think of all the fur you'll have to scrub off;)

    Morning ladies

I've put the washing out - in fine drizzle - hoping it will dry up as it is breezy

I have 2 plans for today depending on whether or not the paint arrives

    Dusty' Plan
    20 minutes exercise
    hoover downstairs
    quick tidy round
    rub down kitchen window paintwork
    give ceiling another wipe
    30 minutes in front garden
    Sort another survey site

If paint arrives - paint walls

    If paints does not arrive:
    check bank accounts/statements
    trust tax return
wash garden toys and leave to dry
put away garden toys/sort for freecycle
    clean one child's bedroom

I plan to delete 10 emails everytime I sit down at the pc (first lot done)

    Morning all!

Well the day is here and we are ready to load the van. No doubt the internet will be switched off at any minute so I'll say BYE and see you all again when I get to Scotland :T

Sorry I can't catch up but hugs to all :A

  • Morning all,

polkadot - if you need your anti-d's to feel good then you should take them forever as depression is a miserable condition. I know coz I've been there. I echo what pigpen said last night.

Right - we have a Japanese student arriving at some god awful early hour on Sunday and I'm getting stressy about what to feed him? Any ideas? I would hate the poor lad to starve altho at 19 I'm sure burgers and pizzas have been part of his menu at home.

I really do need to get dressed now so I'll check in later with my list for today altho we do need to get out to Comet at some point.

I'd have to scrape the rabbit off the top with a wallpaper scraper and a sharp knife.. I spilled sugar on it yesterday and haven't cleaned it up yet..
