I hope Mudbath is not checking in from her hols with all the talk of I**A!
Polka I have a friend on ADs, she is the most cheery together person you could meet until she tries to come off them. She knows that she has a severe chemical imbalance and that she needs them and just accepts it now. She tried so many different forms of help, reflexology, chinese herbs you name it but she only feels good on her meds. I'm glad you are finding the church a help to you right now (I'm not religious at all but understand people get alot of comfort from faith).
Right time for bed for me. Let's hope we all sleep well and wake up to a sunny day.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Yes - well - when Mudbath's away ...

I liked Ikea (Bristol is my nearest one as well) the first couple of times I went there  but I swear I lose track of time once I'm inside, have to queue for hours and end up coming out with loads of stuff I don't need having forgotten the stuff I do
... and it definitely makes me grateful I'm single... every couple I see in there after about half way round seems to be having a fight. One of my friends got so stressed her twins nearly ended up being born in Ikea  she went into labour and couldn't find a quick way to the exit.
Have fun Valli
Edit - just why do you need to measure your car if you're going to get a candelabra?????0 -
Was just thinking the same Dusty!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

Sssh! kids don't know it's a possibility yet! Since ex H wants to 'borrow' birth certs I though I might 'absent' myself from house! Just to let him know I am not at his beck and call! I have, however, got stuff I REALLY need to do!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Right, I think that puppy and I now have an understanding. She's been ignored (nicely) for the last hour and has finally got the message and settled herself on her bed in the kitchen.
This is after half an hour of doing this really cute but strange, half whimper/ grumble/semi bark noise, cos she wanted to get on my lap. I find it hard not to laugh when she does it.
I was talking to someone at work this morning about her. She said that it's cos she's been spoilt over the summer holidays. i.e being out of routine (which she is) and that someone has always been around for the last 6 weeks, which they have. So I suppose there's some sense in that. I thought this evening that I also need to start stopping, being Mum now that she's 6 months old.
Off to watch Holby on demand now while I wait for the washing to finish. So patio curtains are drawn just in case it was anything outside that started her off. Then to bed for a banging, whining, howling and barking free night........ I hope.
See you all in the morning. Got parcels to do tomorrow:rolleyes: groan.
Nite, nite xx0 -
DD4.. who is 5
DS1 DD1 DS2 DD2 DS3 DD3 Moomin Tiddles - so Tiddles is the baby (aah) and Moomin is the one just older than her?
Well that's what I have worked out so far. My Aunt had DS DD DS DS DD DS DD DS DD - so a fairly balanced (and they are well balanced) set.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
