Ok.. My list for today - Make the 3 phone calls I have been avoiding for ages.
Get out into the garden and pick tomatoes and plant winter potatoes.
Decide on what to have for dinner..
General things - Put all the grocery items onto a word pad.. I have them on scrappy bits of paper I keep losing.
Tidy my desk (Godddd this will take days, it's a huge double desk just covered in paper and piles of 'things')
Tidy my bedside cabinet so I can make room to have a glass of water on there again.:rotfl:
Do tescos order today or tomorrow..
Sort out presents, write labels and get them delivered.
That's enough for now, I am getting stressed just thinking about what needs doing...:o
Hugs to all and good luck with your personal goals!

Right I'm going to do some more ironing. Anyone joining me for a HHI, HHC, Etc?
Diva - I expect you to have made those phonecalls while I'm doing my HHI. I've just read on the dailies that you need "gentle" encouragement. I'll set pigpen on you if they're not done!
G&B - have you not finished your dinner yet? You've got ironing to do!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

hmmm I'm now dressed, bed stripped ready to be re-made later tonight when DH gets home and can help me, teatowels on a boil wash and I am just going to have something to eat for lunch and sit and try and figure out why my wholemeal bread didn't rise last night - it sank on the top in the breadmaker..hmm.
Polkadot have you managed to get any joy from your Dr's practice today?
As I said in my email I can understand totally where you are coming from. I am also someone that has to take my A/D's all my life, for a chemical inbalance, as well as mood stabilisers for my Bipolar. Doesn't help that I also have CFS too which complicates matters with my depression.
I wish I could have all days where I actually get up and do stuff, properly, every single day of the week and not in fits and starts. It would also help if I could stop sleeping after I have got up in the mornings..lol There are some days when I feel as though I could do more but to tell you the truth I really can't be motivated sometimes. It is so much easier to stay in bed, or on the sofa, and watch trashy t.v., and half the time I don't even know what I am watching..
Maybe Pigpen will help motivate me, as well as my lovely flysisters on here, if I don't keep disappearing off and on..
Ok now I have put my pity me post., sorry,..off to get some lunchMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Afternoon my lovlies
Well jobs in Ely all done and dusted:D . Eventually found the jobcentre to drop mums forms in, no wonder I didnt have a clue where it was off the main street. Still got a good 40 mins exercise finding it (also parked at Tescos and walked in;) ).
Picked up a few bloused and couple of pairs of trousers for work - will wait for DH opinion tonight. Still need to do the worse job of the day - take DD2 for her pre-school jabs:eek: , off to meet the childminder first. Will walk up there so must remember to buy some sweeties for after her jabs as a treat. When her sister had them last year she never even made a peep - I am NOT expecting the same from this drama queen.
Will aim for an hours ironing when I get back as kitchen had a good going over yesterday, I think an hour should have me near the bottom of the basket. Trouble is lots of it is shorts and t-shirts from our month at Mums and lets face it we ain't gonna need them here! Maybe I should just box them up for next year.
Someone at door trying to flogg me something, later my lovlies
Pigpen - have you ever thought about being an agony aunt? You have such a lovely way a phrasing advice/comments, such as your comments to Polkadot, you always manage to put into words what so many of us are thinking. Its something that cannot be taught, your a natural. Thanks for being YOU!0 -
Valli - Ikea is 4 junctions up the M1 for me, and I never need an excuse to go. Where was the free candelabra voucher from? Ooh, I ha a letter from them while we aere away which I haven't opened yet. I wonder where I put it?
We had a good holiday and I have been trying to catch up since, and have been at work mostly.
DS1 is back at school tomorrow, and DS2 goes for the first time on Monday. The school are doing a home visit on Friday so ground floor needs to be tidy.
I need to:
check DS1 has everything clean and ready for tomorrow
find the marking pen to do his stuff
make the buns I promised he could make
remember where the safe place I put DS2's stuff is
wash the carpet where the dirty disgusting dog had an accident last night
clean out the 'still not dead' fish
then I need to sort the kitchen, downstairs loo and DR to the sound of my newly delivered Beatles Red CD.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
will you all please stop talking about the ironing, i dont know whether to iron it or climb it lol, even the ghurkka guide is getting impatient :rotfl:If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?
