Having a play online and then contemplating some ironing - at least some of it...what else can I do that's useful and quiet?

Morning all
Feel much better for my rant last night. It does you good to get things off your chest. It was over an email I received from someone involved with one of the community things I help out with. He is so full of himself it's untrue "but you haven't mentioned ME in that document." But, having displaced it off my chest and onto the message board, I feel straight to sleep.
But, then, at some point in the night, the dog suddenly starts up a racket and sniffing under the door to the outside from my bedroom (my bedroom used to be the garage and I've kept the old garage back door in place). I suspect it was Mr. Fox wandering through. Quietened her down and managed to fall back to sleep quite quickly only to be woken a short time later by Oscar 99 (Police Helicopter) having a play. I think his rotor blades need balancing again - he was making quite a clattering sound. He was doing the irritating thing - going away and coming back. If he'd just stayed in one place I could have blocked him out but I'd lie there and think he'd gone only for him to come back again....
So, I'm tired this morning. I'm not very good with Broken Sleep.
But, I'm off to work shortly. Hopefully I'll be able to achieve something. I achieved precious little last week as things were broken big time.
I'm all geared up to do some flying in the master bedroom when I get home this evening.
Have a good day ladiesI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning all.
What a night I had last night. Next doors daughter, who is being rather wayward at the mo, had a row out the back which got louder and louder and involved lots of fence banging, dogs barking etc.
This then progressed to the front of our row of houses. There was the daughter, her BF and a young lad with a toddler in a pushchair and a little girl my DD's age walking with him. Arguments escalating, lots of screaming, swearing, pushing and shoving. But the bit that got me was the little girl. Poor mite was terrified:mad: And I mean terrified.:mad:
Anyway, after 4 police cars, 1 police bike, 1 ambulance car and an ambulance had turned up. Containing 9 police officers and 3 ambulance crew. It turns out it's all over a mobile phone:rolleyes: All that wasted money and man power over a mobile phone
So when I finally did get to bed, the puppy starts downstairs at 1.00am. Banging the living room door to try and get in it to sleep on the sofa. Then she started crying, which progressed to howling and finally barking.....for an hour:mad:
I didn't go down to her cos I ain't having that every night. She's a clever little mare. So in temper, I assume, she has ragged the bit of carpet that was poking under the kitchen door . Luckily it's just a loose mat type cut off so no damage and a shredded black bin liner. And yes she is in the dog house this morning.
She's 6 months old so just coming into the adolescent stage. But has been fine downstairs for several months now. I think I'll draw the patio curtains tonight incase it was something outside that spooked her.
Right gonna have one more cuppa, post my list, get ready for work and off I'll be till after 2.00pm today I expect.0 -
Seems it was a right old night for you and me soappie with dogs and policemen:rolleyes:
How weird is that?0 -
TAG - what a nightmare. I think its fairly usual for things to be over very trivial matters which blow out of all proportion.
Just a quick good morning everyone from me. Off to get the 0711 bus.
Have a good one xx0 -
