Evening all, sorry morning now
, not been able to get on much today as have been out but got loads done, really chuffed to have got under the stairs done - thanks for the kick up the backside, I needed it...
Haven't caught up on all the posts (only got up to page 8) but am home all day tomorrow so will catch up then...
Kindlesgirl - thanks for the reminder about Dyson filters - don't know when the last time was that I did mine?
Jinky67 - Hope the headaches better soon. I used to suffer loads with headaches (not quite migraine, but used to drive me mad non the less, and lasted days). I had scans and all sorts, but it ended up being stress, sounds silly, but once I got a few things under control and I stopped worrying about it, they went. Take care and try not to worry about stuff. It will still be there after you have worried about it, so either deal with it or forget it. Sounds easy in words, but I know it's not. It took me ages because I used to bottle lots up and worry for the whole family, but honestly, the best thing you can do is share stuff. Hope I'm not sounding bossy or preaching to the converted here and don't want to sound like it's just all in your head, coz I know it's not, but it can be really serious so please take care.
Valli - I hope you get problems with your kids and the little a**es sorted out soon. We had a similar problem here when we first moved in, but I was lucky in that my hubby is a bit of a Phil Michell lookalike and he went after them, nearly squashed the dad trying to get to his son (probably not a good idea in hindsight). The mother called the police and all hell broke loose, and hubby was still angry when they came (you tend to get like that when it's your kids eh!) and told the police he would do it again if they kept it up... (again, not a good idea!:D ) After the police had calmed him down a bit, they explained that although sometimes these hooligans need exactly that, he could not take the law into his own hands, etc, etc, but they must have gone over and told them what he would do if it happened again, because we've had no trouble since. Obviously, not methods I would recommend (having hubby in jail would have solved nothing) but I must admit, it did feel good to see the look of fear on the little b****ds face when he went for them (although mine was probably a picture at the same time).
You know, we may have been smacked at home and school when we were young, but it never did me any harm, we were never abused and we learnt manners and respect, I often wonder if we are going backwards in this country with all this PC cr*p about now - how is it right for a child to stand infront of a teacher or parent and say 'what ya gonna do about it?' Ohhh, better get off my soapbox.....LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

I've got a 'funny' PM!
It's from somebody who apparently hasn't posted in any forums and has a link asking me if (the link) is my thread. When I clicked on the link it took me out of the site! I think to a gamecheats site! Is this abuse? Do I report it?
