Boffer Freebie Annoucements

With the amount of things that we sign up to and give details to in the search of freebies and good deals, and considering boffer have given 5 free offers previously that have been very good, even if you didn't find the joke funny last night, is it really that serious that you need to report it?

Personally, I thought it was funny, because I was stupid enough, like most, not to read the description before hastily clicking "Boffer Me" in a bid not to miss out.

Had I read it, I would have surely realised that the mention of "Cows" probably suggested it wasn't what it seemed. Secondly, had I been in the search for a device such as this, I would feel much more confident going to a qualified pharmacy or a doctor.

If you wanted this device, you haven't lost anything, as it was offered free. If you are annoyed that they've taken your details, I'm fairly sure if you emailed them they would remove your details.

And clearly the author of the article finds it equally amusing judging by the closing line.

Whoever sent this in needs to get a grip! It also doesn't mention that it did actually give free delivery.

Also, who actually relies on a freebie from a "deal of the day" type website for life changing decisions and moves???

I think you will find that 'they'(Boffer) weren't getting anyone to
sign up to anything. The reason people were giving their details
was because they had seen post's on web forums about a new
website that was giving away freebies.

I hadn't heard of boffer until I saw it posted on here in the
freebie section.

no they were encouraging people on their site to sign up in advance so they would miss out on the upcoming freebie.

Are they not allowed to encourage people to sign up
on their own website?

It was a practical joke but was still a freebie.

I really can't believe people are going mental about this. I could understand
if you knew what the freebie was before it was advertised but come on people
a 'USB FORNICATION OPTIMIZER'

Like I said in another post, I too requested the item without
reading the description first and then realised I had been
'rick-rolled' and it made me laugh.

Get over it and get on with your lives.
