To start don't start Editing your original post to make things stand out we can all read,

To start RE-READ my 1st post about it all and you will see the time and date stamp when i edited that post, i think you will find it was edited almost 12hrs before you even commented on my post and the editing was not to hightlight the sentence. Please get your facts correct before throwing accusations!!!

From the way you write it sounds like you are another clerk that hates giving the Forces money away. and if not you should be!!

No a cat in hells chance i would want to be a desk jockey ty, it is better to have the full facts before claiming than getting a bill 23 months down the line.
Do you really think i should have a DHE certificate should that worry me? considering i have moved many times in the last 14 years whilst married and having claimed NS for quite a few moves, Pre and post JPA I don't think I have much to worry about,

Please don't change your day job to a lawyer as your defence tactics would land many people up in jail.

and whilst you state it's not officially allowed, I would like to see how many people are not given it, considering it's probably more cost effective to give NS rather than the man hours it takes to move furniture in and out of a SFA with in a 72hr period

Two totally different budgets totally irrelevant argument but however what do barrack stores get paid to do then? but i am glad you are understanding about the NOT OFFICIALLY ALLOWED part.

    .

Now reread post 7 which WAS infact edited, which WAS infact after i had posted post 6. to to say get my facts right, i suggest i have........

You can keep quoting JSP until your blue in the face, and quoting my post to make you seem more important,

Now we can keep posting back and forth etc etc

No matter how many times you say you are not officially allowed, I have never seen anybody in all of my career, anyone that has been refused,

so if you wish we can carry this on, just accept many people have claimed and will continue to claim Hotel costs for moves in the UK,

We have moved 180 miles recently and got a hotel room for the night. The same when we did the move 2 years ago.
Where else were we supposed to sleep with no beds as the removal company took 2 days to do the move. 1 to pack up the lorry and 1 to drive down and unload.

My original post as you so put it in 11 was actually my post 5 which totally contradicts your accusation in post 11 as it is totally un-edited.

My post 7 was edited and nothing to do with highlighting any sentences and that was edited 12hrs before you even made any response to it in post 9.

In post 6 you have basically called me a liar for giving out incorrect information and to back up my statement i had to quote the correct rules as per the JSP in post which you are still willing to disagree with until you are blue in the face just on the statement of post 6 i got it so it i must be right. (if someone commits a crime and gets away with it does that make it right for everyone to try and do the same thing?) Sorry officer he did it so i thought it was ok!!!
You can keep quoting JSP until your blue in the face,

Of course i will keep quoting the JSP as that is where the rules as laid down, what do you want me to do go buy the Sun newspaper and use that as fact?
and quoting my post to make you seem more important,

Quoting your post has nothing to do with feeling more important it is a standard way of replying to peoples comments so the original poster and other people reading the thread get to see what the replies are replying to instead of having to scroll through original posts to understand the conversation.
Now we can keep posting back and forth etc etc

Hopefully last post from me but depending on what you reply with may change that.
No matter how many times you say you are not officially allowed, I have never seen anybody in all of my career, anyone that has been refused,

In my career i have seen it on multiple occasions at multiple stations and on 1 occasion i have been refused too so my personal situation contradicts yours.
so if you wish we can carry this on, just accept many people have claimed and will continue to claim Hotel costs for moves in the UK,

Not once have i stated that people have never claimed or will continue to do so in the future, in fact i do know people have claimed and will continue to do so but at the end of the day rules are rules and they are there to help, guide and enforce things which in a nutshell is all i have tried to do to help people by pointing out information good or bad so everyone knows the full facts.

If you do not like hearing the full facts and adhering to rules laid down in black and white then maybe you shouldnt say anything at all.

I didn't mean to start an argument, sorry :-(

The admin office here told my hubby that we are entitled to £23 per person for meals and one night's hotel on B&B because our stuff is in transit overnight, and we could have had up to 3 nights if it had fallen over a weekend, as they have no welfare houses etc available for us to use.
So that is sorted, and yeah, the DA does go with the monthly pay runs, and no you can't have an advance on it!

My friend had the same situation only 2 years ago in Catterick garrison and she got the removal company and DA.

    Hope that is useful
