Morning everyone - happy mothers day to all!!

The kids gave me a lovely card and a little poem for my purse and OH had saved up £55.00 to buy a new outfit for the summer - have dropped 2-3 dress sizes so far so will be nice to buy some jeans that actually fit!

Off to see my mum later and give her card and pressie to her (£10.00 M&S gift voucher as she loves the sales so can use it to bargain hunt) - its a lovely day so should be a nice walk to hers.

Have put another wash on to go out on the line before we go and have the leftover stew from yesterday for dinner with some cabbage.

I sound organised for once! Need to iron DD uniform for tomorrow though to be super organised so I am not rushing round doing it tomorrow.

Luc - kids 'helped' yesterday with hanging the washing out, cooking tea and cleaning (after a fight over who got to squirt the spray) and it took forever bless em but they enjoyed it - as soon as they get to the age where they can be of help they will lose all interest no doubt!. Horse is fine - starting to look a bit 'lean' but has done really well this winter considering so Im not too worried - our fields open in May and she will flourish then - have been taking her for long walks but want to take her on the bridlepath for some grass - that means crossing a road though so will have to dig out her bridle as she is on her toes enough round the yard - she is definately growing old disgracefully and puts some of the youngsters to shame!

Hi Mum hope you and littleun are ok - OH managed to reinstall Word yesterday so I should be ok for submitting it on Friday - spent a couple of hours on it yesterday and will do some more tonight and I have a day off work on Tuesday (fingers crossed) so will hopefully submit it then but worth bearing in mind for the future!

Sky - I love going to garden centres so well done on only buying 2 things! I have some little tubs that I want the kids to plant some flowers in - they will love that - so you have any ideas what could go in them - Im crap when it comes to flowers just like looking at them! The garden gets a fair amount of sun and can the tubs can be moved accordingly.

I am currently doing W100 with the OU at the min which is a Level 1 Law course. I am really enjoying it so far. I did an openings course Y166 - Introduction to Law first - its only 20 weeks and helped to get back into the swing of things - I wanted to make sure I was able to manage my time sufficiently first as well.

Thats it for now - off to do a bit more housework and then wrestle DS into clothes (he has decided he much prefers being naked now!) and then to mums.

Doing budget later so will be back with some numbers and that can be my DFW related stuff for today! xx

Im not sure really! Its for DD so something she can look after and watch grow if its not too late to plant something that will flower this year! Im really clueless on all this - I usually buy the plants all grown up and then plant them - I dont mind doing that if its too late for seeds. xx

I had to google them but they look perfect thanks Luc! I'm guessing that the seeds are easy to find in the shops - not rare or anything!

I'll have to figure out the camera so I can take pics! x x

I really fancied doing this course as well but couldn't afford the fees as they were so much higher than all of the other courses with the OU. It is a shame as it is probably the course most relevant to my work experience before I had my DD.

I knows it a long shot but would u be entitled to a grant towards the course, ? x
