Ask 'what's the BEST thing you have done today' and you are more likely to get a response.
White shirts/anything stainy - white vinegar in the wash! And pre treat with bicarb and vinegar before putting in. For the real young ones just accept that they WILL get PVA glue, play dough, paint, chalk, snot and whatever else on their clothes. poly cotton washes easier than pure cotton, and polo shirts are only 99p in poundstretchers.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

And yes, the whites thing is an issue.
Thanks for the tip! x
Empire Cinemas have childrens' films Saturday and Sunday am, £1 per person, adults included. The films aren't the current ones though.0 -
He doesn't HAVE to you know there is always home education. Also if he is only nursery school age he does not have to go yet either.yorkshirecath wrote: »I'm with you Gingham.
My little boy starts on the 3rd Sept and im petrified.
He's had a rough start in life and finds some things a struggle.
I wish i could keep him at home with me but i know he has to go.
Best of luck, I know what you mean i was worried about my DS because he too had a 'rough start' but he settled in to the nursery class brilliantly, and the teachers were pleased to have a little lad there who talked so much !!!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I was sitting in the park with my lads and a friend's little girl today and I watched my oldest and his mate walking off together to explore and I got such a pang. Took my breath away. It goes so fast. They were babies 2 minutes ago!yorkshirecath wrote: »Thanks sarah.

I nearly cried when my littlest - now 7 - went to school, because he still had such babyish looks, BIG eyes and soft ringletty blonde hair! I got his hair cut!
I worry MORE now about DS1, in hindsight, that I did when he first started school as he has complex special needs which the nursery teachers dealt with fantastically, but as he gets older it is more difficult :eek:Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
