Best mobilephone's with free gift.....(advise needed)
I'm coming up to the end of my contract on my o2 mobilephone and am looking around for a better deal (particulary one that may get me a free wii). Does anyone have any reccomendations of companies to go to (or avoid) and what about networks (I've always been with o2) but I've been told some networks coverage isn't very good.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks

This would be best posted in the Mobile Phones forum (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=14) - waiting for someone to flame me for suggesting that!
Meantime in response to your query, try going back to your existing service provider and tell them you'd like to move to another company - you'll be surprised what they'll throw at you; such as a free Wii, phone and better contract (I recently did this to get a PS3 for my brother).
Coverage in my area is much of a muchness, and can also depend greatly on the phone itself.0 -
Thanks thereadessie - didn't kow there was a mobilephone board. I'll give o2 a call direct, but from my past experiance with them, they have wanted me to evidence that I can get a better deal (ie telling them which network, the tariff etc):j Bought all my presents for this year (birthday and Christmas) now starting on next years!!:j0

hi smilelois,
just so you know, i was passing t-mobile and they had a sign for free wii with their new contracts. i've been them after being with orange for years and now i have a cashback deal with O2 and my regular contract with t-mobile...to be honest, i would recommend t-mobile and had no probelms with them. their tarriffs are good on the flex-t and (i think) they have an offer on for coming up with a comparable deal for any other provider. coverage has been great - in fact better than 02, and vodaphone which is not meant to be the case!
a couple of hints though, if you do go with them, try to sign on as a business customer - you should get free voicemail and free itemised billing as a result. also, make sure you get as a decent a phone as you need now as when you upgrade, t-mobile do some excellent deals if you do not upgrade the phone (this may be true of all providers, even your own now so may be worth looking at before you sign a new deal as the cost of the wii may be cheaper - if your handset is ok)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I too have swapped to T-Mobile after an awful experience with Orange. It's worth checking coverage as they now share masts with 3 and O2 so coverage is much better than before. I got a cracking deal - free HTC Touch and £130 cashback on a 12 month £35 tariff. My wife got a free blackberry 8110 and £230 cashback for 18 months at £35.
T-mobile customer service are excellent - all UK based, very helpful and friendly, and very patient -they even called me back to save my bill! That's my kind of moneysaving:T0 -
check out dialaphone.co.uk and get £60 cashback when going through quidco also freebie gifts with your phoneIt only seems kinky the first time.. :A0
