there wasnt any kind of event in the boots woking store
not sure about other stores...
there was a stand with half price perfumes though.
was after britneys perfume But wasnt on offerso bought katie price one instead.
Is there some sort of mega event or promotion on no7 oe electricals today or not?I was planning half and hours bootsing but my mum isn't very well so have come over to mums instead .Is it worth me going or not?0 -
I used 2 of the Mitchum vouchers today as well. I used the ones someone very kindly did a link for and they scan like a dream.
The perfumes I bought they other day are all back to full price - the assistant said they sell so many and then she has to change the prices back again?
I bought 1 of the mens No 7 wash today and 1 of the mens no 7 exfoliator wash with pinkys. The price on the No7 stand is £6.50 but if you have a look at the No7 mens stands around the store you may notice they are priced at £6.
The Toni and Guy Model me range was also half price. The shampoo and conditioners are £2.50 so if you have a voucher from the mag for 250 points they are in effect free, no cheaper than the 2 for £5 but if your store will only scan one voucher at a time it means you can get 250 points off each.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
While in Boots today i found out that a whole load of perfumes have been put on sale that were not suppose to be and that head office has told all stores to pull them off the shelfs and that is why everything is varying from store to store just now."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. Does anyone know if there is a limit on the 200 points Time Delay voucher's from the Health and Beauty mag? I used one yesterday and tried to use one today but it wouldn't work...TIA
hi,
i dont think there is a limit. but i got refused to use my td mag coupons with till spit by three different s/a s. then i tried again yesterday and they scanned beautifully both at manned tills and ss tills.
quick question, someone mentioned on here about a website were you can swap or exchange vouchers, does anyone have a link please as i was given debenhams vouchers for doing surveys but would like to swap for boots vouchers.

I've also found this voucher to be SA dependant as some of them have refused to put them on since the product is already free. The till never beeps however.Remember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -

I have used about 15 of these over the past couple of weeks with no problem at all........ Maybe the voucher was dodgy! I have used them with extra spend & on there own with a free TD.

Does anyone know if Boots sells a nail polish correction pen? It's one of those things that you use to touch up stray bits of polish that get on the outsides of your fingernails?
The last time I bought one was a while ago as it came with spare tips and I can't be bothered with my nails now they are constantly in water
It was Sally Hansen, it was carded and on the stands with their varnishes and treatments.
The time before I bought one by Nails Inc and I think I got it from Debenhams
However, i'm sure the Sally Hansen one was cheaper and I prefer it as it literally takes one sweep and the imperfections are gone, whereas the Nails Inc one was a bit greasy and needed a few goes with really dark varnish.0 -
OMG can you combine the vouchers from normal tills and SS tills?:eek:Had a good shop at the Metrocentre today. In fact it was quite bizarre.
Got a new liplicious (I love these!) and paid at the SS tills. Put through the mag 100pt coupon first, worked fine. Then put through the Pinky, worked fine. Then put through a pinky which had come from the SS till, so was a till spit, not an actual pink voucher. Worked fine!
So liplicious was £9.25, I spent no money, I got 100 pts and the till gave me 75p change from the 2 x £5 vouchers!! Well, I wasn't complaining!!
Metrocentre has the cream R&M bags, some TS serum still at 6.99, loads, and I mean loads of the old MF GWP still going through as free, and loads of mags.
Hope that helps someone!
I think I am all Bootsed out now and am looking forward to going away next week. Will try and post a list of how much I have spent in the last 2 weeks, vs worth of goods and points, as you are all truly amazing and have saved me a fortune!
Ta guys.
