Yup, works a treat, for the No7 ones! :j I thought someone had already done this earlier on in thread......
I wouldn't be brave enough to try at a normal till, but the SS tills are great for that sort of thing!0 -
Polls Dolls - thankyou for posting that. You are SO right. It has really made me stop and think what is important in life. I think we worry about so much trivial stuff we loose sight of what is really important. I haven't really spoken to you before as am fairly new, but have read a lot of your posts in the past.
You are an inspirational, strong lady - sending you a bit more strength (in a boots bag, with a glitch and 1000 offer points of course lol!!) to keep you going over the next few weeks. I can't begin to imagine what the waiting must be like. Let us know how you are getting on,
Caz x0 -
Does anyone know if there is a limit on the 200 points Time Delay voucher's from the Health and Beauty mag? I used one yesterday and tried to use one today but it wouldn't work...TIA
Hi , I have used the TD coupon 3 times for the mens TD balm in three different stores this week and each have scanned no probs, I think the trick is to hand the 200 points coupon over first before the Tillspit,:D
I've also used the mitchums coupons too without any beeps, I've used one of these in conjuction with Boots sensitive washing power £3.69 BUT (half price with HC )to boost transaction to over £5 to get both tillspits a couple of times HTH0 -
Hi, Oldham today had -
Loads of Olay Hand Treatment £4.97 going through free with £5 till spit
no TS serum
no mags
noTD under £5
No7 super slim anti cellulite contouring balm reduced to £5 so free with pinky.
Loads of mitchum
Few 1/2 price perfumes including Britney fantasy, Roxy & a few mens.
S/A said that on Wednesday a list had been sent from head office of perfumes to be reduced which was duly done, however this was the incorrect list so they were all rapidly withdrawn on Thursday afternoon & the correct ones reduced as per the new list!
Managed to get Kylie darling with free body lotion for £15.260 -
BlueCow stamps up and down and gets all huffy as would LUUURRRVVVE some SS tills in her local boots! (to quote Pash.....PAH!! lol!)0

I'm sat here with tears in my eyes, yet a smile on my face. We have not spoke personally a lot, but I wanted to take the opportunity to say I think you are a truly beautiful person, inside and out. Since I have joined this thread I have witnessed you be supportive to old and new memebers alike, and I know that you have helped certain individuals a great deal privately.
This often makes it a pleasure to read your posts. I am sorry to hear of your news, sometimes it confuses me as to why it is often the nicest of people who are often dealt the hardest cards. I will be keeping you in my thoughts, and wishing you all the happiness I can.
Youth is not often all it appears, and I agree that we should all worry a little less and live a little more. However, with age comes a clarity that makes us value more what we have, and value others as they deserve to be valued.
And this is how I think of you, as one of life's true helpers, be it a kind word, a joke, or an offer of help - you display a lot of qualities we should all hope to one day have, the qualities which should be valued more than youth or beauty.
*big hugs*
Thank you for taking the time to explain, and to tell us how you feel.
Thank you x x x
well said and much better than I could have done xx0 -
Just back from Boots at Bluewater LOL now there's something I don't say very often.
Zoomed in on perfumes upon arrival, big stand marked "offers". Man comes up and tries to spray me with something, have I tried DKNY he asks. No I'm looking for Katie Price (not literally obviously). Katie Price not reduced he tells me because only summer fragrance reduced. Oh well.
So I head to R&M counter and get 2 each of the black bags, white bags and green eye shadow kits. Also I get 3 x sanctuary charcoal warming masks and various Damask Rose and French Lavender stuff reduced to half price (no bags though). Oh yes and No7 eyeshadow brush. I spend ages deliberating over whether to get instant radiance pen and a liplicious (thinks - pinkie + PC coupon + PC 300pts on pen + 100 pts = about £8 in Boots logic) but decide to hold out a few days.
Looked for Cadburys buttons but NONE. Headed for SS tills to pay, did all the transactions no probs until last two items - the eye shadow kits. SA overrode the pinkies so I could get them for £1 each. Not sure if she would have done this if I hadn't been able to say "but it works fine on the make up bags and they're reduced too".
Before leaving I strolled past the perfume again to sniff at the Katie Price and WHAT'S THIS???? Katie Price IS reduced! It wasn't reduced an hour ago but now it was so I got 100mls for £17 with body lotion free. Paid with points.:T0 -

How is everyone getting on with the green Mitchum coupon? I had a Mitchum roll-on in my shop yesterday and handed over one of the £1.50 Mitchum coupons. It would not scan and typing in the number manually did not work either, two SAs had a go. Not sure why, has Boots put a stop to the coupon? Anyone else tried the coupon today?
I also found some of the No7 black padded cosmetic bags, and got a couple of different ones with my pinkies.
Poundsinbucks x
Each time I've used the 50% off Mitchum coupons the SA's have had to type in the number and yet today in a different store they scanned properly and the till didn't beep.
I've developed a favourite low cost shop at the moment just because I know it works and I'll use the items!:
3 x Mitchum roll-ons (29p each after the 50%/1.50 kicks in)
Paracetamol (16p)
Total = 1.03, and get a tillspit & pinky each time = free TD cleanser or wipes & free No7 Super Slim anti-cellulite serum. Hope this helps somebody.
Actually I've just remembered that this shop was even better the other day when I got the Trevor Sorbie glitch too, so added 1p to the total!!!0
