posted too early!
Can anybody help me did a load of shopping today with lots of vouchers and im pretty sure one of them wasnt scaned but i have just put that down to experiance! however one of my bargins was a rubbie and millie set the lips one had a fab SA that ket me have for a pound. was well chuffed as got two 4 presents for people got home and found the seal is broken on one and although the security strip was in place (so i thought it was ok) it seems someone has taken the strip off opened it stuck there figers in the lip gloss and taken one of the brushes!
really upset as they were for my cousins. worried about taking it back a because i got it so cheap and im worried they may think its me due to the fact it was technically sealed when i picked it up (ie security tag on) but they are easy to peel off. looking closer now the one thats been damaged did not have a carbord sleave and the other one did. doeas anyone think i can take it back and swap it. really want to as i was already thinking of my lil cousins face xmas day, i could never have afforede this without the offer!
Thanks for any help you can give tink!0 -
just got back from a weird day
had a car crash:eek: thankfully still alive but car all mashed up at the front, everyone in shock so parked up at merryhill and ended up in boots to take my mind of the horror of it!
1st shop
2x jema kid nail files
1 ac serum plus free product
#6.01 to pay plus 512 points back
(did this twice) so 4 till splits
then 2x j kidnail files
1 deodrant
5.09 plus 500 points back so 2 till splits
then got a reduced joop summer..12.50...PAID WITH POINTS
then tried the oral b coupon on 2 reduced toothbrushes but wouldnt workso added another one paid 37.00 and got 1500 back
at least we will all have clean teeth huh!
then remembered nappies so got 1 pack of newborn and some spiderman pullups pants for son.. used 2x 75p off pampers vouchers plus a 1.00 off pc coupon so gained 2 more till splits
by this time i had lost the energy to use any of the tillsplits so we came home in the mashed up car:eek:
lots of perfumes reduced still and assorted aftershaves , i was going to trat myself but started to feel ill from all the smells but oh was happy running around the aftershaves so it took his mind off the crash for a while.
plus can report lots of mags left with the pullout, sadly forgot to get any as a bit dazed and confused by that time but any brummies get yourself over if you are looking for perfume.
they did have the ange au demon one reduced too, think you get 500 points with a ac voucher?
the acm machine only had 2 offers though for me and oh....booo!***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -
Hi All  ,
Back from another trip to Wincheap (Canterbury) managed the TS glich x 4 (once for my Mum), they had restocked with serum so 1p each time. Used 4 x £5 vouchers for TD Rejuvenating Moisturiser SPF15 reduced to £4.25 each so FREE with vouchers & of course 200 xtra points per voucher!
OH wanted some aftershave so found JPG Fleur de homme (?) & some Hugo Boss both half price. Queried a purchase I made with points in the week as I got Christina Aguilara (sp?) 75ml with 16.50 points but on .Com it says you get a FREE body lotion worth £14 which I didn't get. Lovely SA said she wasn't sure but would try on the till & then voila.........I was right so she gave me the body lotion FREE :j :j :j .
Debs x****Everything comes to those who wait......it just seems like I have been waiting forever!****0 -
Hi, Ladies! Just got back from my hols and there are 220+ pages for me to catch up on! Was on page 23 of part 32 when I left - that ran to 113 pages, then I think Part 33 has 114 pages and now there's this thread with 14 or so pages. Aaaargh! How will I ever catch up??
If anyone has time to send me a PM with current best deals, that would be fab. I thought I'd missed out on the Lynx3, 2 for £4 as I couldn't get it before I was away - - but is the offer still on (for my lovely smelly DSs!)? Also, do I gather there's a perfume sale on???
It's all so confusing (even blonder than usual after 2 weeks in the sun!!)
To get this back to Bootsing, I may need to get some Expert Scar stuff - "highlight" of the holiday was DS2 tripping up and putting his hand through a window. Cue emergency trip to hospital and 9 stitches. It could have been a lot worse but I reckon it aged me at least 5 years! Last year he fell off a pedalo and cut his back open, but that didn't require medical intervention. When we returned this year and saw that the beach didn't have pedalos any more, I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking we would have an accident free holiday. Silly, silly me!!
Just finishing the 5th load of washing - isn't returning from holiday grotty - and it's so COLD!!
TIA!

. Got in the queue to pay and remembered I'd forgotten to do the chocolate button glitch (2 big bags for 75p instead of 79p each
)
Heaven - never mind catching up on all the other current glitches - this one has CHOCOLATE!!! (never mind about the weight I put on on holiday, eh?!:rotfl:0 -

I'd certainly take it back and ask for an exchange. I don't think you would have a problem asking for your money back, but if you only want to exchange it then I'd say you definitely won't.
Whether it's reduced/cheap/pinky it should be unopened and not used.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
here is a copy of the PM I have sent to scotsmum
I am sorry if I offended or upset you with my post, all I can do is apologise, it was in no way meant to hurt or offend anyone... I hold my hands up and say "I am sorry, I was wrong" I am afraid I sometimes type before I think... If I had to have an excuse for this it would be as I am working sh1te shifts at the moment and try to catch up when I am tired, please forgive me...no offence intended at all ... sorry x P x
now I am wide awake and back to normal... and I have been to BOOTS!!! lol

hiya ikkle:j
i tried explaining to the sa that both baskets of shoppings are exactly same Both sets of vouchers are same..althought i didnt use Ts or pinkie yet paid £4.08
and my sister used till spit aslwell as pinkie along with the other vouchers yet its over £19..
she had a look at the reciepts and said NO she hasnt used pinkie (althought it was infront of her on till) and she just wouldnt understand...thought i was bonkers
Couldnt really ask anyone...every time i use a single voucher they BUZZZzz and wave the voucher in the air and ask one another can she use this,,etc,,,and it just gets embarassing .
I think its All the sas in woking store just get jealouse with the vouchers..
few days ago i took the rainbow pallette to no7 counter and the sa said it wont work with pinkie as its reduced (£4.75) so i didnt bother asking her to try it just left it on counter , 20 minutes later she was on her lunch break,,went through the atc machines and then bought the exact pallette with a pinkie herself.
woking is the only store ive always shopped in as its the nearest to where i live been guildford once 7/8 miles away that ist and the some of the staff there were very nice...but i cant really travel to another one so im stuck with the woking one and think im getting a "voucher queen" repputation from itsoon as i walk in they start talking to one another .so frustrating..i mean its not that i get the shopping for free i pay With the vouchers,,and end of day boots get there money back from voucher manufacturers so Dont know why the Sas get a ahem up there back a$$ not losing out of there pay cheques...
Hiya hun, I had a similar thing happen the other day where 1 set of shopping put through by me was £9.xx and my nan put same through and hers was £2.51 we used same coupons etc so i took both receipts to a diff till at other side of store and they gave me a refund of the difference .0 -

I've got one that's R & M, but not sure how long I've had it0 -
Yes its true the Sa esp Woking store ones get jealouse...the dont scan some vouchers on purpose...normally i use to give them one at a time and keep an eye on the till see if its scanning properly ,,but today i just put them in the basket along the items...
same as my sisters but she still got over charged and the vouchers were more then mine
sa asked me is thsi a copy (£5 off £30 ) i said no i got an email and printed it ,which i did ,,i mean the voucher was color didnt even look like a copy but they probably get pleasure in embarrassing people when theres a long que.Any idea why that happened? When you looked at the receipts, the SA falled to scan your vouchers? I wonder if some do this on purpose because they don't want you to have the deals? I know some seem to hate it when you get a deal, even when the voucher works without a problem!0
