Nice to see you posting and sharing your dreadful burden,we are all here to help and will support you all we can.

I want to share with everyone how you rallied round for me after my Breast cancer diagnosis in July.You were my saviour :A as no-one understands the same as someone who had been there.Your words of wisdom brightened my darkest days,and showed me theres is life after breast cancer and I would get through the tests,waiting for results and surgery.
Your words were just so "right" and frank but exactly what I needed.I both cried and laughed at your emails.I hope between us,the Bootsers can give you the support that you gave me.
Only once my surgery was over and my results were good,did you share your own worries.I wish we could get your results quicker for you (wonder if we could bribe the clinic with a gigantic Boots hamper!)
Polly you are an amazing woman ,as all the messages prove.We will all be Bootsing with our fingers crossed until you get your results!

Had a good shop at the Metrocentre today. In fact it was quite bizarre.

Got a new liplicious (I love these!) and paid at the SS tills. Put through the mag 100pt coupon first, worked fine. Then put through the Pinky, worked fine. Then put through a pinky which had come from the SS till, so was a till spit, not an actual pink voucher. Worked fine!
So liplicious was £9.25, I spent no money, I got 100 pts and the till gave me 75p change from the 2 x £5 vouchers!! Well, I wasn't complaining!!

Metrocentre has the cream R&M bags, some TS serum still at 6.99, loads, and I mean loads of the old MF GWP still going through as free, and loads of mags.

I think I am all Bootsed out now and am looking forward to going away next week. Will try and post a list of how much I have spent in the last 2 weeks, vs worth of goods and points, as you are all truly amazing and have saved me a fortune!

we did a few shops ...(ever so nasty SA on fragrance couner ) woking store .

my sisters shopping was totally same used same vouchers Plus time delay till spit and pinkie BUT had to pay £19.something

The nasty assistant was very rude first she wouldnt give the body lotion saying perfume is half price ...then took all the vouchers But didnt scan them all,..purposly "missed" few and said they dont work,...aswell as being rude and nasty and throwing the reciepts on the counter..Shes overcharged my sister about £15 :mad: :mad: (whos very upset and has sworn never to go in boots again)


did a few more shops at medicine counter nice girl ther so used the till spits and pinkies...

got a survey from her which ill be filling in now about the rude nasty SA at fragrance counter...

How many people from here shop from Woking boots store and what experience have you had from the SAs ?

Not been able to get on since yesterday - husband hogging computer! I have had 15 thanks from my post - that's amazing, doubled my number of thanks overnight! I don't know how to go about thanking all those who thanked me - if I do it individually it will take too long - is there a quick way?

I have no way of knowing who was the person who left the TS voucher from mag stuck in the SEL near the LH serum in Lancaster store yesterday but thank you again! I think that was a lovely gesture and one I will repeat. I don't seem to get to use many of the vouchers and things before they run out of date so I will do that in future if I get the chance. Mind you, if I got the chance to do that, I would be able to get the items myself, wouldn't I? We live miles from a town so I don't get in that often and when I do, I get fazed at the thought of doing Boots as I never know the details of what I should be looking for so I tend to think I won't bother!

Sorry for wittering on, but I just want you all to know how much I appreciate your welcoming and friendly attitudes to a person who asks some stupid questions.:A

For those of you doing basket's etc, I have been to T***o this morning and they have some lidded plastic shoe boxes for £1. They look quite sturdy and a bargain at that price too, also good if you use other MOC's too in line with policy obviously. They have Ballet shoe stickers on the side but theses look as if they would peel off quite easliy if you need them for a more mature person :rotfl: I found mine with the other household type goods/bedding etc,
