Here comes the girls, girls,girls!!!!!
Think you are all so fab. Have spent all week studying 80 odd pages, thought I could have a crack at theat !! Asked a couple of stupid questions earlier on in the week about the Mitchem vouchers, many thanks to the 'proffessionals' for the replies. Printed a few 50% Mitchem's off and off I went.
Things started well straight away I found a 'pinkie' and a 'till spit' (c I have been studying I am getting to know the lingo) in the basket pile.
Grabbed 3 spray Mitchem's and needed some cotton wool so did the 2 for £2.00 again knew I needed something extra to get over the £5 to get a till spit and another pinkie.
But the SA would not have it with the Mitchems she said they were already on offer and the voucher clearly states not to be used with any other offer. So that was it went away with tail between my legs.
Going to try another shop tomorrow but this incident has knocked my confidence. Was she right? or should I have a clever 'stock' answer next time. Any help/advice to a newbie would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks0 -

Would be sweet revenge if one of those new nails accidentally fell into his dinner whilst you were cooking it  Of course, I'm not suggesting you do this on purpose with a substitute (wouldn't want to waste those fab nails)...... :rotfl:0 -

Downstairs I found No7 Beauty Purse (black quilted half circle shape), sel said reduced to 4.00 by going through as 2.00.
Also had No7 Beauty Bag (long cylindrical shape), sel said reduced to 3.00 by going through as 1.50.
So with one pinky I got :
2 of the No7 Beauty Purses and 1 No7 Beauty Bag, total = 2.00 + 2.00 + 1.50 = 5.50 - pinky = 0.50p to pay !!!!! (I was literally hyperventilating by now because the purses are lovely)
any pics these lol
Sorry no pics, and boots site is still down. But they are really nice and an absolute steal for £2 and £1.50 (and even better free with pinky's) ! Will have a look later on boots site when it comes back up and if I find them will add pics to forum.0 -

If my nail fell off into his dinner...I would be really concerned...I have really long nails naturally :rotfl: but a fake one...now..I'm sure I have some from boots from a while ago:rotfl:

I do understand how it knocks your confidence, it's not nice and you have my sympathies. Despite being quite an experienced 'Bootser' I still get very embarressed when things go 'wrong' and I literally go bright red
The best advice I can give you is try again on another day with another SA. The Boots SAs can be a funny beast, some are lovely and go above & beyond the call of duty to help you (top tip - find these SAs and make them your friends
) whereas some make you feel like you're personally taking the savings from their wages  .
I had issues with the Mitchum vouchers yesterday (they did allow them in the end but told me it was a one-off) but then today, I went to a different store and the SA put it through no problem at all, didn't even comment on it.
Don't let it put you offThe glitches come around at a staggering rate (luckily for us
) and like men (and buses) if you miss this one, there will be another along soon
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Had a little trip to Sutton Coldfield this afternoon in search of ts long hair stuff. The sels said reduced to £2.50 and I thought how crafty. You would then only get the £2.50 knocked off the £7. First place I have seen this, anyone else seen it?0

Just remember to paint it bright pink first - choking, now that would be too much revenge (probably) :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yes, people have reported this a few days back - I think the next best product to get is the £5.99 ones - then you still only have £1.01 to pay for the both......"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0
