Wooo Hoo I thought. So I goes to the counter and SA says abruptly you can only have one of those ( mags) I expalined to her DH was with me ( he had just gone after DD ) So she said 'oh alright then'

So I got my 2 mags and got my 2 till spits out, the SA ripped out the TD vouchers..anyway so she did first transaction fine.. 200 points and free TD.

second one she said that couldn't use my card as it would not recognise the points as voucher says '1 per person' at this time SA was still clutching my till spit and TD voucher and had DH's card ( didn't want points on that one wanted them on mine;) ) asked her if she would try for me with my AC card. 'No as it is one per person', so I said fine I would leave it ..at this point I couldn't find my AC..SA adamant that she gave it me back so was looking for this and was all confuzzled.

Anyway found my AC card in the bag with my time delay..SA handed me DH's card and my shopping bag...was walking out and noticed that the mags weren't in the bag so went back ( I mean we are talking TS glitch too with vouchers;) )

Anyway she had put hem in the bin as she said I didn't think you wanted them!!! So I got the mags back and got the rest of the vouchers out..Only when I got home did I realise that she KEPT MY TILLSPIT !!! AND TD POINTS VOUCHER..

Its sad that we encounter jobsowrth SA's like that. I was getting TD on saturday and the girl on the till offered to go and get me a magazine and rip the points voucher out! I'd totally forgotten some 'I had prepared earlier' in my voucher purse! :rolleyes:

The trouble was she had made such an issue of it too it was samll store and she made me feel like I was a thief or something. fortunately most of the ones by me are really good especially my local..Can't grumle too much really as I did find a till spit and pinky yesterday;)

had a fairly sucessful day today im getting the hang of this bootsing lark - took my cousin she loved it !

3x mitchum

paid 80p and got pinky and spit

shop 2
1 x magazine
3 x kids smile toothpaste + 50 pts and on 3 for 2
2x lynx 3's
1x td toner + 200pts

paid £5.60 and got another pinky and spit

shop3
1x td cleanser + 200pts
1x no7 wipes
2x lynx 3's

paid £5.50 and got yet another pinky and spit

off to birmingham friday so hopefully be able to find some bargains.

i also found an old spit in one of the trolleys so i bagged that

Grrr!! I hate men........had my nails, hair an tootsies done today, and my OH just came home...I merely suggested we go out somewhere for tea as it would be a shame to waste how good I look....and what do I get.....grumble grumble....oooh but this but that.....pffft! So here I am....off to COOK tea!!!

Why oh why isn't my boots open later?!?! I coulda naffed off there and got myself a meal deal..

Yep, think has definitely been fixed because it didn't work for me either today.

Can I just do a big :mad: at the person who put a pinky down the side of the escalator at the back of the Cornmarket store... it's driving me mad, I can see it but I can't get it. I'm going to have to take one of those grabhand things with me next time I go in. :o:D

Hi AM and thanks for the other message (so much for me making each post the last one for today lol)

Logged back in as OH went to see if the offer I mentioned was still running but it turned out that it was a one day only offer. He rang to tell me but mentioned that he was refused a magazine too for some reason or other - SA said he'd had too many according to his AC (Can a Bootser have too many? )

Anyway, that was a rhetorical question so no need to reply but it does look like something's going on with the magazines for some reason. I'll pop back later and see if anyone else has had problems. Might be an idea to use up the mag vouchers that people do have already though ...?

Sorry for not replying to any other posts but will try later tomorrow.
