Just a quick one whilst I'm here - I haven't been reading for 2 days and it's amazing what I've got done around the house

Anyway, today I went into Boots and noticed Baby Expert is 2 for £3 - does this mean previous glitch will work again? Sorry if this has already been discussed!!!

Also LOL, yesterday I went into my local at end of day after not having been in for about five days. Security Guard virtually ran up to DS arms outstretched to greet him!!!!!

Just remember to paint it bright pink first - choking, now that would be too much revenge (probably) :rotfl: :rotfl:

    And just put half in........:rotfl:
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Yes, people have reported this a few days back - I think the next best product to get is the £5.99 ones - then you still only have £1.01 to pay for the both......

    ;)

I meant all the long hair stuff was £2.50.

    Here comes the girls, girls,girls!!!!!
Think you are all so fab. Have spent all week studying 80 odd pages, thought I could have a crack at theat !! Asked a couple of stupid questions earlier on in the week about the Mitchem vouchers, many thanks to the 'proffessionals' for the replies. Printed a few 50% Mitchem's off and off I went.

Things started well straight away I found a 'pinkie' and a 'till spit' (c I have been studying I am getting to know the lingo) in the basket pile.

Grabbed 3 spray Mitchem's and needed some cotton wool so did the 2 for £2.00 again knew I needed something extra to get over the £5 to get a till spit and another pinkie.

But the SA would not have it with the Mitchems she said they were already on offer and the voucher clearly states not to be used with any other offer. So that was it went away with tail between my legs.

Going to try another shop tomorrow but this incident has knocked my confidence. Was she right? or should I have a clever 'stock' answer next time. Any help/advice to a newbie would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks

Try not to let these knockbacks knock you. To become a "bootser", you have to develop a bit of a hide, and it'll come! I too still get nervous at handing over large or small bundles of vouchers, and I'm sure the girls who've been 'at it' for a few years do too - the adrenaline rush maybe!

The best bit of advice I've seen on here is that when you get knocked back, just take it in your stride and balance it against the glitches you've been successful with. It's bad luck that you've been knocked back so early in your "bootsing carreer" :rotfl: , but just get back in there and try another SA or Store or department.

I have to say that I've only 'done' one mitchum per transaction, so that if I had a voucher knocked back, I'd only be buying one - maybe try that, and if the SA accepts the voucher, go back to the same one with 2 the next time?

    Good luck :T

Oooo, well that seems silly doesn't it! The 2 for £7 offer is a bit pointless.....

Sorry no pics, and boots site is still down. But they are really nice and an absolute steal for £2 and £1.50 (and even better free with pinky's) ! Will have a look later on boots site when it comes back up and if I find them will add pics to forum.

Great prices!! Did you manage to get more than 1 with a pinky?? I got the long one for £6-£5 with the pink when they were still full price. Then got the matching set at half price. Now you got them at 75% off. Someone asked for a photo many many pages ago and I posted it here. Now sinw asked for a photo, so I quote myself!!

Have just photographed them. The big one is now £5 (so free with pinky), the medium £4 and the pencil-case like one is £3. They are normally in the nail accessories, files, etc are.

They look really good quality!! So go for it!!

You find them in the same area as these bags near the nail files, the brushes, the nail buffers, the tweezers, etc. I think it is the manicure area.

Just got back from my little local and noticed this too, hope it means I can use my remaining 92/93's :A

The chocolate buttons glitch appears to have ended *cry*

The store I went to had no mags, no TD under £5, doesn't stock any R&M or any good No 7, and doesn't stock TS LH range. Oh and no ACM either, so I couldn't check for new vouchers. Just bought a shower gel and toothpaste for my holiday and came back home  Does anyone else actually feel depressed when you come home from Boots glitch-less? :rotfl:

I'd like to get my 11-year-old cousin (boy) a fragrance. Nothing fancy (nor expensive). There are lots of girly fragrances like the so! range, the morgan one, barbie, etc. But I cannot find a boyish fragrance. Can someone suggest something nice and inexpensive? TIA

Edit: I will compile the recommentations here for everyone's benefit:

Hi PCG, another suggestion for you, Adidas fragrances are quite suitable for young lads and only around £6, I like the Victory 2008, HTH

Regarding the fragrance for a young boy, my partner got Intimatley Beckham for £13 in the fragrance sale which smells lovely!

Hi, I bought my son Calvin Klein Crave, he's now 13 but was 12 when i bought it. It was on clearence in Boots & I paid £5 but I think its now about £10. It comes in a funky plastic box. I know its not Boots but in A*D* they had loads of reduced perfume & aftershave & i think the David Beckham one was around £5..........
    I hope this helps
