other quick story I think you'll all like.

I call it "proof that money is the root of all evil"

when checking my bank this morning I added up all the Direct Debits that should come out of this wage. I rounded them all up to the nearest whole number. The total?? £666

    Proof that money is evil.

I had a good giggle and I hope you all do too.

    Smile everyone!

    ooo how?!!
  • Today I have/ will:

    *Paid all my Bill Payments
*Sent off letters to all creditors asking for reduced payments
*Asked for a payrise at work after a recent job offer and was told that we will all be getting one in the next month... Yay!!!
*Took Children shopping (Caitlin had the calculator and list and very very helpful) Came to £38.98 on a budget of £40.00
*Decided that I am not going out into Town tonight.
*Withdrew all shopping and petrol money for the month so that there is no need for my debit card.
*Set Sky up on Direct Debit to save me the £4 charge every month... :)

Now I may go to bed cause I am knackered.

erm... hi again everyone. I've just sort of become obvious debt free... (Still have my student loan and mortgage though.)

You heard me right. I can pay off the credit card and the sofa.:o

I entered a competition on the radio for a cocktail making night out for me and 5 friends. I got taken on air and got the answer right. I won. :D

The other part of the prize was £850

:j Eight hundred and fifty pounds!!! and I won!!!:j

Remember my really really sh!ty week last week and you all told me my luck would change? Well thank you everyone! you were right!!

I am giving £200 to my long suffering boyfriend and the rest goes to paying my debts (and buying beer to celebrate tonight! ) He is using this to pay for his equity membership and some other acting stuff.

I'm stunned. I'm still owed a £400 excess payment for last years car accident too. maybe by the end of this year I can be debt free with savings...

    Totally stunned...

Thank you for listening to my gobsmacked ramble.

    :j KTjazz :j
ps. if anyone would like to go to a cocktail making evening in Glasgow tomorrow, of my friends that have replied to me nobody can go...

oh and one other mch smaller thing. a gil in my work was asking everyone for change of a five pound note. I had £4.50 in my purse. I said sorry I didn't have enough. Her response was "don't worry about the 50p. can I take the £4.50?"

I said you sure?! She said of course (obviously not a MSE) I even got the 50p change later and she wouldn't take it from me. so I made an extra 50p too.
