  • I managed to walk past the coffee shop today and avoid spending £1.20 on a latte. So combined with the £1.20 I didn't spend yesterday, and in celebration of that, I've paid £2.40 into my ISA today!

Also, sent more info to the Courts over my claim against Halifax and PPI mis-selling.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Time for honesty. I did almost none of the things on my list yesterday. I checked the bank then updated my sig. (check out the overdraft before payday figure! Another month like that and I could be out of the overdraft!! (but not likely))

I did none of the things on my list really but I did go bonkers with tesco clubcard vouchers! I don't normally spend more than £20 in there (unless there's booze which I'm all but off just now) so there isn't much point in me getting NoTW voucher but I did have a £1.50 off voucher with my clubcard statement, that with my Bogofs and 25p off milk, 25p off bread (froze the bread) vouchers I knocked £3 off my just under £10 shop to make it under £7. I kept staring at the receipt! Thats the first time I've really been a voucher bunny and boy did it feel good!

    Today I have/ will (hopefully)
-do a couple of loads of washing at 30 and hang most of it on the rack (need the towels quick smart so they can get toumbled)
-store cupboard lunch and tea, even though everyone has gone out for lunch I'm here with you lovely people for company while I eat my peanut butter sandwiches!
    -staying in tonight so NSD
-picking up the shredder I'm going to borrow from my mum for its part in "the great declutter"
-relaxing with a glass of wine (we need moments like that)
-BF coming over so hopefully tv and lights out early! *giggles* *then blushes*

Thank you all for being great friends (can you tell I'm in a sunnier mood today?!)

See you all tomorrow I hope.

other quick story I think you'll all like.

I call it "proof that money is the root of all evil"

when checking my bank this morning I added up all the Direct Debits that should come out of this wage. I rounded them all up to the nearest whole number. The total?? £666

    Proof that money is evil.

I had a good giggle and I hope you all do too.

    Smile everyone!
