help, my mot is overdue

Just book an MOT ASAP and make sure they get a record of your registration number when you make the appointment. ONLY drive to and from the MOT until you get a passed MOT.0

Just get it done now. You will be Ok. No doubt there will be a rush of people to tell you that you are an idiot. Take it as a valuable lesson learned in being properly organised (last year I found out in September that my LR's MOT had expired in August:rolleyes: ). I had only driven it about 20 miles in the meantime though.0

Get your MOT done before you drive it for any other purpose, consider yourself lucky not to have been pulled over or involved in an accident and you should be fine.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0

Cheers 4 superfast responses. Will book 1 tomorrow. Phew , was getting a little bit worried there.0

Get your car booked in for an MOT - tell them that it has run out and they should take down your name, reg no. and address. As said before, do not use the car except for driving to the MOT station as that will be the only time that it is legal to drive.
If you do get pulled up en route - the MOT station will have all your details as proof that you are on the way there.Genie
