I have a slightly better lappie with XP but I use the old knockabout one most of the time, play some games on it (alien arena a doom type thing, mostly use it for multimedia and email, net etc.)The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Games are for developing skills and strategies and exercising your brain. Yours is obviously finished developing and is never going to improve. Sorry.
And stop being so rude you Muppet.

I go on whatever site I want, when I want without having to be careful or limit my browsing experience, I leave my AV to do its job.
Anyway, even safe sites can be hijacked to excecute code.0 -
Its really good to hear from other users on here who have ditched anti-virus software in exchange for faster performance. I tried most AV software 3 years ago and they were all absolutely dreadful. Ditched it, havent had anything bad since on 2 computers. Only naiive and very inexperienced users who open emails from complete strangers will get a virus these days. Its a huge marketing con perpetuated by ill-informed IT types.0

it's only naive and inexperienced users who don't use av software. Cue another apple/linux/windows debate.
I use multiple Windows machines at work with no anti virus or spyware software installed. It just depends what you are doing with it and what your potential exposure to malicious files is..0 -
Making a cup of tea is a risk. What if you pour boiling water on yourself? what if you electocute yourself! God spare us!0
