I know what you mean though. Its amazoing to me that someone can burn through what, to me anyway, is a life altering amount of money without really thinking about it. I suppose if you know you'll get a front page every time you break a nail you can get blas! about it all

It a mixture self righteousness and denial.

The self righteousness comes from the fact that she considers herself a top grade celeb and wants to live that lifestyle. When the bills mount up she ignores it because she wants to maintain that lifestyle. Most people who reach a certain lifestyle want to maintain that lifestyle at any cost.

It's a bit like us shopping at M&S each day when our budget is Tesco or Lidl.
