Steve i might catch up with you for decent hotels in good areas if you know the area well as and when I have worked out where we want to stay.

Probably looking not real cheap but not realy expensive, just in between......gonna be pricey enough as Vegas will be a niceish hotel for 5 nights.....

ive set up a google map of what we want to see and i suppose its just a case of seeing how it fits in to an itintery and what bits we want to drive and where we want to stay....not sure i can publish the google map on here to show ya?

We stayed at the west high sierra B&B in Yosemite park and it was great. Well recommended. Its less than 5 minutes drive from glacier point and 30 minutes down into the valley.

However I would suggest you stay 2 nights, it really is a great place to chill out in and the views are amazing.

HI all. Me and the missus are going to west coast america from 15th April to 6th May.

Flying from heathrow with BA, Hethrow to SFO. flights 740 ish total price. Live in Manchester but my dad will drive us down to London (he's a plane spotter) for free.

Driving the lot from SFran to SDeigo, across to Las Vegas and back to SFran.

Will try and fit in as much as we can. Great info on here anything else would be great.

Will keep you updated as we sort out the in's and outs
