    Pepperami pizza 3 pack (frozen)
Vanilla dairy icecream (large blue tub)
Chicken Tikka masala & rice (frozen)
    Olive oil
    Orange and apple juices
    Mini Jaffa cakes
I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
  • certainly lidls scotch broth and chicKen soup are well worth a try.
Their expresso 100% aribica coffee at 99p for 200 grams is excellent.
The stilton is fab, as is the dried cured Dulano original Black Forest ham.
  • Aldi's Chicken Kiev’s are lovely ....trust me I’m a Chicken Kiev expert!

Wouldn't have really used them before until this thread. Bought there crisps yesterday - really nice. Healthy eating ones called Buffalo flavour!

What are there boxes of chocolate brazils and other chocolate items like please? Boxes look nice but just wondering about the chocolate because I'm a Dairy Milk fan.

    EDIT - Aldi's that is;)
  • My Cat loves the Aldi dried cat food, £0.99 a kg :)

Lidl bags of dried fruit are excellent - much cheaper than the health food shops and the prunes are not all wizzened up.
    Tomato juice thick and flavoursome
Xmas gingerbread (small round semi circles) lovely. Daren't buy any yet I would only eat it.

This has already been said, but just to reinforce - Aldi lasagne in the chiller cabinet is the best! Really creamy but also meaty, better than some I've had in Italy. So good in fact that I cried once because my mum had eaten one that I had been planning to have for tea! They also serve about 4 people because they're massive. Combine with their part-baked ciabatta and it really is unbeatable! Not healthy but tasty. It comes in both pork and beef I think. Wish there was one in Oxford now...

Haven't tried Aldi lasagne yet, but can highly recommend Lidls. Also, Lidls chocolate is definitely comparable to Cadburys. I would say I like both of them equally.

    Do Buy
We find there fruit and veg is mainly British and of far better quality than at Morrisons or Asda's.
    The Proscetto (sp?) ham
the 99p fresh (not frozen) pizzas (yum yum)
    Lamb shanks

    Don't buy
Fishsticks - they don't taste right.

In fact of all the stuff we've had from Aldi's there's only the fishsticks that don't taste right. Plus we save about £30 a week from shopping at Morrisons or Asda.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

The belgian lager is actually Stella and the highland black whiskey is Johnny Walker Black Label. I know this from a very, very reliable internal source.
