I go onto www.mysupermarket.com and print off my shopping list for the relevant supermarket(it gives you price per pound too) then i take this into aldi or lidl first-many things are cheaper and i can see instantly before i do my big supermarket shop.

For a supermarket, that they do.

I usually use Birmingham Market for fruit, veg, meat, poultry, game and fish etc, or one of several local greengrocers or butchers, but do use Lidl for fruit and veg at times and it's always been good.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

  • Has anyone used these cleaning cloths from Aldi.
They appear to be something similar to those wickedly expensive so called "E-Cloths".

  • Having just struggled with all the strength I can muster, to open a Lidl El Tequito Hot Salsa Dip, I just wondered if anyone else has problems opening their Lidl jars?

I'm mid 40s, 6ft 1" about 16 stone (not all of it fat... :D) and I can only just open them before the veins on my forehead pop. I visualise all those pensioners who flock to Lidl on Mondays and Thursdays, dying of malnutrition at home, surrounded by unopened jars; or is it just me, am I a wimp?
