I also love to ramble on in the arms and thats probably where most of my posts are made :-/, however i find thats were most of the nice people are and where i've made the majority of my friends.
I can understand about peoples complaints or gripes about the amount of posts that are made with hardly anything to do with money saving etc, but what does it matter, who is it hurting, does anyone really care whether you have 1 or 10,000 posts, i dont. I think the point to remember is that not everyone just comes on this site for the sole purpose of giving great advice, I feel its an integral part of some peoples lives for whatever reason, some people can't get out easily, have no job, are lonely, or depressed etc etc and this could be there way of communicating with what they call the outside world, do we take that away from them. I don't think so. People have all different reasons for joining this site and everyone is encouraged to join in and form a community etc and if it brings happiness to them, then what the hell, let em post all day to their hearts content. we have to live and let live a bit.
And if anyone wants to remove my post count or stars thats fine, i'm not in the least bit bothered, i'll still come and post when and wherever i want.Nobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission
Love doesn't make the world go round, it's what makes the ride worthwhile

Yes, I must admit I tend to spend most of my time in the Arms and just have a quick look at the other boards I'm interested in and comment if I feel the need....
I dont think post numbers matter really - life's too short...!0 -
The post numbers don't matter to a lot of us, but it does seem matter to some as they keep bringing this up,so it obviously upsets them. :-/
Why can't they just get on with it, and bear in mind that a lot of people have more time to spend on here than others.0 -

Couldn't agree more rush :)
I've made about 80% of my posts in the Arms but so what. That means that I've still made a fair few on the other boards, both offering my help and thanking people for theirs.
I've also found that the people who've been around a while are really good at finding things, both on this site, and on the web. I've now learnt to do this and can help others who may be trying to find a certain item. If someone recommends something in particular I'll have a search on the web and put a link on for them.
This is something I've picked up from the people who have loads of posts like Traf, Sheel, Cathy, Pat etc. They've been around soooooo long ;) that they often know where to find the bits of info that us newbies are constantly asking.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
Wow, What a response to this post. I am glad you guys think the same way.
Thanks.
Oh no I have become my own worse enemy ???0 -

And Thank You from me too Jay Jay :-*0 -
Just let me make it clear (hopefully for the last time - thought I've said it a million times before - perhaps someone can bookmark this post and link to it the next time this is mentioned).
I have NO problem with people posting lots, absolutely not, I enjoy it, it helps the site. The stars do not indicate 'quality' but 'quantity' the names of the star categories are deliberate to show this. I doubt any of the regular posters would they their posts make them great at saving money, however it certainly does make them understand the site and how it works, and can direct people in the right place around this site - and i'd like to thank them for all the masses of help they provide in doing that.
