Nobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission
Love doesn't make the world go round, it's what makes the ride worthwhile

Brilliant bargain ,well done you ,off topic but well done ;D ;D0 -
I understand your point obeywan,
There is one person in particular on this site who drives me nuts with pointless posts and has made thousands of them without really adding many moneysaving ideas to the site.

I am relatively new to this site (about 9months) and I have notice the higher the number of post you provide the increased Kudos you get with the additional stars.
This is all well and good but I have noticed some members just go round thanking other members on their good ideas thus increasing their total of posts.
They have not added to this site!!
I prefer the quality rather than quantity.
I cant wait for the sad G*T who is going to reply in the same manner to this post.
obeywan_kenobe - coudnt agree more. Used to be only good stuff on MSE now parts are like a car boot sale / Sunday Market. Still good stuff around, its just harder to find, and I dont have time.
did you see my thread on this subject..??

Its not even worth venting about now because it will just give them another opportunity to boost their post totals by adding more nonsense to your thread followed by several "I agree" posts.
It does make it easier to spot the posters with something worthwhile to say though0 -

hmm I believe that all posts in the money savers arms count towards the total number of posts and that's an area designed for rambling on (no offence meant to those who ramble on there - I love reading the ramblings on a wet dreary Monday morning at work ;D)
everyone has something worth while to say, it just may not be worth while to you then....if you know what I mean....
and I think politeness isn't a bad thing surely, the world isn't as friendly as it used to be so surely a thanks and some encouragement is worthwhile0 -

Very well put Murtle.I agree ;D
Its all very well people pointing out the amount of posts that some of us have, but you know we don't always notice till someone brings it up.
But I do remember quite some time ago not long after I had joined this same question came up then and I remember Judi saying something like that Thanks and I agree is all she wants to say at that time as the other person before her may have posted what she was going to say and an obvious I agree was suffient, and I think the same way if someone has say beat me to it with a simular reply I still want to add my bit of input, sorry if certain people can,t agree with that but it is a fact.
Also I realise that the certain people will be back checking all of Judi post as they read this, as they like to be thorough to try to disprove what I said, but I knowing what your like make sure of what I say, is true0 -

Most genuine moneysavers will spot people like this.
The way I deal with it is to just ignore such posters and get on with what we do best........moneysaving and helping others to moneysave.

Know what you mean ;)
And I know what you mean.
But what about the person who is always very helpful to others when they need it, and whether or not you look as this as not contributing to money saving I do, as it helps people around the boards to the money saving offers, all forms of help is needed.
I know that the site is about money saving, but it is also about being helpful and friendly.0 -
Afraid I dont often have advice to pass on, but I do get a lot of information from other posters and now and then have a little gem of info for everyone!!!
Is the number of posts important anyway?
It's fairly easy to find the people who have lots of info on particular subjects, whether they've got 1000 posts or 10.0
