I need a bit of advice folks about negotiating a salary:o
I am applying for a job which it looks like I may get (internal vacancy) the salary is what I am on now but the new post has a !!!!!! load more responsibility. It is full time however which is really what I am looking for now.
I am only part time at the minute but to be honest I would rather have a less stressfull job on part time hours than full time, loads of stress for the same money.
What I really want is about 4K above what they are offering and to be honest I think they would struggle to get anyone to take the position with the qualifications and experience that it needs.
Please help!!!!!!! I am rubbish at stuff like this and tend to just accept things without questioning them and just moan about it later:o
Say that you've been comparing similiar roles in your field and they all seem to be on a higher salary than you. Wait for them to make you an offer, then say "No that's not what the going rate is" Get into bed around the +2k mark I would say.Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0 -

Hi HBFS we will make a Flylady out of you yet;)
Did you find any new lifeforms while on your cleaning mission?
I found some clarity. So it was better than finding anything mouldyDemocracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0 -

But when do you do that? At the interview or after you have been offered the position?
I would like to avoid getting into bed with anyone if I can:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Clearly not a native of the North East then
Do you have good experience of this role? If you have, I'd do it at the 'Do you have any questions for us?' bit. If not, chance your arm anyway!Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0 -
Payday Loans has tracked already on Quidco! The money will be in my bank account tomorrow, I'll just let it sit there until they want it back and then I'll wait for Quidco to pay out. Excellent result, £40 profit!
Terrible that they are already trying to get me not to pay it off in one go - this is an email I've literally just had - before the money even hits my account!
"Did you know you don't have to pay off your loan in one go? Our client login area will allow you to defer payment of your loan, or take a new loan once this one has been repaid. Take a look and see how easy it is to use. Why not save the link to your favourites for the future?"
and then, the options available
Option One - The minimum you would need to repay this month would be the charges of £20.00. We would then defer the principal balance of £80.00 to your next payday, on which you would be due to repay £100.00 including charges.
Option Two - We do suggest, if you can, that you pay some extra off of the principal balance in order to reduce next months repayment. Option Two is that you pay £70.00 (£20.00 charges and £50.00 off the loan). We would then defer £30.00 to your next payday, on which you would be required to repay £37.50 including charges."Stay Wonky":D
