Hello all!
Back from my marathon second interview! Lasted 5 and 1/4 hours! YES! You read that correctly! 8am-1.15 pm! Blimey! But, they said they were VERY pleased, and impressed and felt I had answered any concerns they *may* have had about being the correct person for the job! (ie. when I said I was nearly 40, they both looked shocked and said they thought I was about 30! Yeah skin cream!) so they knew I was not going to run off for a more 'glamorous' job! lol! I have done my time of 'glamorous' jobs (oh, yeah, standing behind a cosmetic counter is SOOOOO glamorous! NOT!) but at least I know they wont mind me showing up without makeup! Woohoo!
So, fingers crossed, I should hear Fri pm. And they said that my expectations for pay were fair (Said £19k p/a plus commission?!) and that I would prefer a decent wage (of which I think that is for an office based sales/service job here in Telford?) instead of crap wages and commission based. They agreed!
