  • i'm actually quite intruiged by this teletech opportunity
    So was I last week mate but you should check out my last post before you go any further go off your benefits. If you still think its worth a punt I would make sure I was in a Union like the CWU www.cwu.org.uk/ if I joined that kind of caper. But each to his own.
  • can someone tell me at what stage are you asked which days off you prefer(i think daffodill mentioned this earlier). also do you think it is ok to swap hours if able and when should i suggest this? have come this far so dont want to mess up. all i have left to do is go to solicitor on monday and return paperwork!:T

    anyone else start training on sept 15th???:j

    hi ktf I wasnt asked which days off i prefer, its more what days can you be available. I think you can ask someone to cover a shift for you, i'm not sure about a permanent swap. I'm sure they'll try their best to suit you if they can. I have just been giving my hours and they have started day shift now from 8.30 am till 11pm i think.

    Yep my hours have now changed and I will be doing some daytime hours aswell as evenings. I was originally given 25.5 but now have 32.5. It's fine by me because they have worked it around the hours I told them I was available.

    KTF if you can find someone to switch hours with they are happy for you to do this. Wait until you start training and you are sent your hours and you will probably find there are a couple of people willing to swap with you.

    Just to be clear -I assume these are sales hours as tech doesn't do anything earlier than late afternoon start.
    Not been picky but as this is the tech thread not the sales thread it might confuse new people reading who are thinking of applying.
    (I wish tech did have some earlier hours :) )
