Sorry you lost me?
Don't think there is anything strange about it. This thread is relatively old.0 -

Not happy with my nabru sofas at all. We decorated our lounge a few weeks ago and I was very impressed to find a corner sofa that would fit into the small space we have. I bought that one, plus a standard two seater. Couldn't fault delivery, the sofas arrived on the day specified, driver was very helpful and offered to take them into the house for me and to dispose of the packaging for me. Easy enough to assemble, it took me and my partner a couple of hours to do both sofas. That's when the problems started. The covers don't fit tightly enough, resulting in all the front of the cushions and the footplate looking baggy. The stitching on on of the cushions ripped as I was trying to push the seat base into it so we have had to sew it up. One of the cushions on the two seater sofa has curved down at the edge, resulting in one of the cushions being a lot higher than the other in the join in the middle of the sofa. The same is happening on the cushion next to the left hand arm of the corner sofa. The covers on the footplates of the corner sofa don't fit together in the corner, resulting in bare mdf showing.
They're comfy enough, however we've only had them three weeks and they look like we've had them for years. Still, if you only pay £270 for a sofa then I guess you've got to expect it to be rubbish. If it sounds too good to be true then it is. Waste of money.0 -

I'm sorry but have you given Nabru a chance to put the problems right for you?
Just because you have spent £270 on a sofa doesnt mean you should accept it and forget about it. £270 is a lot of money to some people and you should give them a chance to put these problems right. Problems do occur in manufacturing. If they are not aware of the problems then I think it is unfair to vent off on the forum about it unless they have refused to help you.
The sofas and chairs I have are not rubbish at all and I am very happy with mine.If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
First purchase from Nabru. Bought it because we have a very narrow staircase and needed a sofa bed for the guest room. The one we wanted was in stock and arrived three days later and only then because it was the bank holiday! The courier called when he was an hour away which was helpful. Very well packaged and the seperate parts meant it was much easier to get up the stairs although arm units are still pretty heavy. I assembled 2 seater on my own in about 2 hours. Would be more helpful if left/rights were labelled but if you take your time you can work it out. Tip is to assemble as close to finished position as poss because once built, it is very heavy piece of kit and I had to wait for husband to return to move it!
Bed is ok for occaisional use, thin mattress so you can feel the bars through it but it's what you pay for.
Very thick, firm cushions and covers look really nice.
Overall, for this is incredably good value for money. I would definately use them again for hard to access rooms.0 -
I have called Nabru this morning about a corner chair design, the lady who offered to help did not get back to us as quick as we thought, so we still went ahead and designed our own corner sofas here is the design of the sofa.
1 x Build Your Own (ownbuild) = £471
LH Arm = LH Chaise
LH Seats = LH 1 Wide Seat
Corner = Corner Section
RH Seats = RH 1 Standard Seat
RH Arm = RH No Arm
Fabric Faux Leather - Tan
Feet Wood legs
Seating Type Standard Seating
2 x 26 Inch Scatter Cushion (26_inch) = £30
Fabric Faux Leather - Tan
Assembly (Van A) £40
Delivery cost £0
Total: £541
I wasn't so sure about the Faux Leather Tan as we have never tried any of there samples but we were advised to go with the darker brown colour so we went ahead with the darker brown espresso leather.
I do recommend that you do order "with assembly", it is only £40 and they will deliver right to the door, to my living room, they will assemble the corner chair and also I was told that they will take the pallet and the empty boxes once it is assembled. We have made the order on the 17th of sep 2011 just few minutes ago and they will deliver on the 21st of sep 2011. It is way much better then waiting 28 days + ... So far we are very happy with the first stage of orderring the corner sofa chair. I will keep you updated about the leather corner sofa once it is deliverred and assembled....see you on the 21st of septo be continued....(fingers cross it will be all good)
